I just finished watching the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles today on Disney+ and didn't even know that these were removed. I came here because I remember hearing something about a scene with a 90-year-old Dr. Jones, but I would've never imagined that there were scenes for the beginning and end of each episode! It's a crime that Disney took these out. They give the show so much great context, I'm so glad I got to see them. Thank you for putting these up, I am forever in your debt.
so great to see these again! It's been so long I misremembered Old Indy having a hook, not just an eyepatch. Guess I mixed him up with my memories of pirate stories... charming!
Old Indi should Never have been removed from the show. Its how I personally remember it and i'm rewatching it now sadly without him and its just feels like something is missing
"I dunno, this doesn't look good" "'Doesn't look good'? You listen here, you shouldn't judge by appearences! Why that's a lesson I learned all too well, it started when I was a Boy Scout..."
So I’m having certain doubts that this is canon bc there’s no mention of Marion and or mutt, also what was Indy doing at the side of the table? Don’t the elderly people sit at the head of the table
Actually, the forth film references this series, with Indy telling Mutt he learned Spanish from Pancho Vila . Although i'd argue its the timeline of events themselves that's cannon. Lucas wrote up a timeline of Indy's life with over 50 events like these, to help the writers plot out episodes.
Much better George Lucas approved canon and ending for Old Indy than the pathetic version Disney has foisted upon the world. Imagine Indy having lived a life as a great hero and scholar only to end his days as an alcoholic in a rat hole apartment according to Disney!
It's a tragedy in the world that they removed these from the films. I want to thank you for allowing me the privilage of seeing these.
Theres not enough thanks I can give for what you've done to keep this part of Indiana Jones legacy alive.
I won't let that stop me though...thanks.

Same here.
A wonderful trip down memory lane. Loved the show, and Old Indi. Thank you very much.

This TV program was great! I hope to see in "Dial of destiny" what happened in the eye to Indy.

This is still canon in my mind, Indy’s long lost daughter belongs to him and Willie.
Pablo
Confirmed it’s still canon
23 years after dial of destiny
Coraline could be Mutts daughter before he died.
Life was so much simpler when these aired
Thanks StooTV!!! Please don't mind my additional info:
The Old Indiana Jones Chronicles - Part 15: (includes bookends for)
Peking, March 1910
That closing book at the end is somewhat symbolic, as this is the last time (chronologically) that we, the audience, see Indiana Jones.
"I dunno, this doesn't look good"
"'Doesn't look good'? You listen here, you shouldn't judge by appearences! Why that's a lesson I learned all too well, it started when I was a Boy Scout..."

Marion died likely and mutt probably lives in a different state.
Maybe He married to Another Wife.
The canon is confusing because the information given about Indy’s later years is different in the show compared to the information given in the films
I heard mutt died but married early and have a daughter name Caroline before that.
Mutt might have married early and have a daughter name Caroline before he he died.
Are these all the Old Indy segments that existed? These 15 segments?
Where's part 16?
+Ryan Friedman There is no Part 16. (Not every episode had Old Indy bookend segments). I saved this for last because it fits well as an ending.
It’s salvage the damage indy 5 cause anyway.
last time we indy
