@@DerekCook178 It varies based on where you live. It also depends on if you are planning on doing a basement, the bonus room, 3 car garage, etc. They have an estimating tool on their website that will give you a rough idea. We did find it to be more than what they quoted, but that could be because the lumber prices have gone up so much recently. It's a great house and we are so excited to break ground soon!
@@ambergilliam6472 we just talked to a few builders about it and they keep saying it will cost way more to go that route instead of their floor plans. Do you believe this? Do you find it to be at least close to plans you have seen from builders? Also I really wish I could see pics of your house when it’s being built somehow. Would be so nice to see it in real life situation. Thanks for the reply amber!
@@DerekCook178 Are you looking to build in a neighborhood? If so, most of the time the floor plans that the builders offer will be cheaper. Besides having to buy the floor plan for this house, it is also more of a custom home. The floor plan is fairly basic, but with the vaulted ceilings and the large porches (front and back), the costs can add up quick. If you are serious about building this home, I would recommend waiting a bit for lumber prices to go down if possible. Also, we bought the floor plan during Black Friday which saved quite a bit of money. I have been thinking about starting an Instagram page on our building process soon and if I do, I will come back here and include the details. Hope this has all been helpful and good luck to you!
