I thought the first gen Gallardo started sharing parts from VAG. I don't think the Murci does until maybe the LP640.

Part of the charm of the Murci in my eyes is it’s not always going to be perfect, and will only sometimes work the way you need it. New supercars are too reliable. Murci ownership keeps you on your toes 😉

Super exited for the murci build
The Murci is a true supercar, not very practical, terrible fuel economy, terrible reliability, but… but, when everything works… it has an experience that a modern supercar simply cannot replicate. It’s not just about the speed, it’s the whole package, the theatre, the drama, the sound, the emotions of joy, sadness, anger and above all, the passion. Very few cars offer the feeling the Murci gives.

Damon YSOB why dont you let Gintani do a Twin Turbo kit on the Murci since your not doing it on the SVJ like originally planned ! Underground does a TT kit and so does Heffner Performance for the Murci already so Alex wouldn't have to build one if you decided to do it somewhere else !

It's all in the name of the brand. One of my friends use to be my mechanic (in return for keeping up on the maintenance I let him use my car while I was at work) and one day, when he was looking at one of my regular customers Jaguar that was having issues he noticed that the part that was bad on his car had the exact same part number for the same part that was on my Ford Focus. The part was like $80 for my Ford but for his car, because it was a Jaguar, was gonna cost him almost $400.
Damon, I bet you could find the exact same regulator from a VW Jetta (or something else Volkswagen) for 1/10th the cost if you looked instead of just saying "Oh well. Because Lamborghini....."

🥱🥱🥱 I’m so tired of all the whining about click bait. True DDE fans watch their videos when posted without paying much attention to the thumbnails. Damon and Dave have explained sooooo many times that super appealing thumbnails are needed to engage the casual viewers. There are several older videos where they’ve helped their friends grow their channels with this advise. They review their friend’s content, pointing out that their highest views are on the videos with exciting thumbnails. DDE makes their money from social media and have proven their social media prowess by maintaining their status as one of the top car channels for 10 years. Just let it go already.
One of my more fav things about DDE is how close to live you guys are with the videos.
Not on this channel......the start of this video seems like it was filmed even before the fires and the end was before he made the ferrari rescue videos.
How could it be filmed before the fires when at the end he points to where the fires burnt down to the lake as well as mentions the evacuation????

Cop car was a disappointment
@jamiegaboury3912 only because they didn't really have time to do anything with the cop car. They've had the 720 GTR to try and sort out, the twin turbo Ferrari, the Murci, Gumball and who know how much other stuff behind the scenes. I don't think it's fair to say that the cop car was a disappointment.

Well if you chech the part nunber it could be a ford part the front side indicators are off a ford focus in the UK .👍And use Teflon spray on the window seals

Modify the Lambo windows to old-fashioned crank handles . Mike could do it in a pinch . The downside would be manual windows. Fun fact , The LIZZARD on the cars radio display is an error code that means that the head unit needs a thorough cleaning or replacement .

I'm guessing the dodge ram in the last few main channel vids Mike was towing the Ferrari with his own truck not the dodge and since in the Monterey series the Evo street hummer and cop car were there so only other option would be the ram since the svj is overseas still unless Damon had another car I forgot about

We’re really getting the best of both worlds with Damon giving us awesome Canadian content and having the boys back in the US giving us awesome content too. Super hyped for the Murci build especially cause it’s gonna happen soon with Sept being right around the corner. My classes for my 3rd year at college start at the end of Sept so although that’s gonna be tough, it’s nice to look forward to the Murci build too 😊 👍
Edit: wait a minute… Murci build, documented fully, crazy build and the most important part (Florida)… is it going to Tavarish for the build 🤔 maybe not but wouldn’t be surprised 😂
Speak to Mat Armstrong,had the same problem with his.2 my knowledge he cross referenced a few part numbers’s and found 1 compatible 4 a fraction of what Lamborghini wanted.✌🏻
Hope it won't be the same as the other Murcielago that stays in the workshop more than you drive it and costs hundreds of thousands of dollars in workshop work

Hands down the most epic Murci of all time is the R-GT GT1 with the Le Mans aero package. The louvered front fenders, the hood scoop 🤤 but there were less than 10 of these cars ever built. If I had to guess I would think this would be the car Damon is planning on building, but when he says it will take a few months it makes me think that he may be doing something else. DriftWorks already did this very build, it’s even the same color of Damon’s car, it has a real race kit that he somehow acquired that had to be fit to the car, and the car still has a more comfortable road car type interior than the race car. There is so much time, labor, fabrication to get the race pannels to fit a road car and then months of body work. DriftWorks even acquired the R-GT GT1 Manifolds and headers as well as the intake manifold that was on these race cars that gave them an insane F1 sound. I remember when the DriftWorks Slambo GT1 Merci was revealed and it was mind blowing, and still is to this day when at events. It would take over a year to build a car of this caliber but we can all 🙏 this is the type of build Damon has in mind because it’s insane. The easier and more practical route would be to bolt on the Liberty Walk Murcielago GT Evo kit that they offer. The car would still be insane and the build time he’s predicting makes sense. We all know Damon’s style and you can bet the farm it will be one of these builds or something very close to it 🤔 can’t wait to see this build, although the whole waiting for the car to be built and finished before seeing any content for a big “surprise” is definitely lame. Mike Essa is going to be locked away behind closed doors for quite some time 😢

It's probably a bit late now, but see if there's another manufactures stamp on the window regular. I say this as I think on the Murcielago the side repeaters are from a MK1 Ford Focus. It might save you a couple of grand!

Damon, my guy just to inform you. The Merci shares a lot of parts with few different cars. As in the front side marker lights are on Fords. The window regulator is very cheap. Look it up.

I can confirm that garages attached to uk houses are as wide as the murcialago,so you can park your car in them, but you can't get out of your car. Which is why most people put the washing machine and dryer in there instead !!!

Take the nice things out of the murci to preserve them! Get carbon fiber inserts for the doors and new seats and all that cool stuff, keep the oem stuff mint so you can sell if ever needed. And supercharge the car

I really am excited about this merci build , i was happy Damon got himself another gated dream car but now to hear a custom kit is being made an its gonna be getting the full DDE treatment.. im absolutely happy for our boy , if Dave gets his Bentley GT kit ,,not to mention the TTF12 ...Oh an the favorite 720s GTR Lark .....what a great next few months we got over here
you should look into the part number for the window regulator, Because Matt Armstrong found out that a lot of the Murcielago's parts are the exact same parts used in regular cars like Volkswagen's, Audi's, Nissans etc. And they go for like a small fraction of the price compared to what Lamborghini would sell them for👍
