Waanzinnig en jaloersmakend mooie foto’s Guido!!!!!! Ik vind ze allemaal mindblowing mooi maar als ik dan een favoriet moet aanmerken is dat voor mij ook nr 3 ❤❤
Thank you very much for taking the time to comment and for watching the video. Always nice that people apreciate the videos I make 🙂 the differences are so small that it is hard to choose I guess. Grt guido
Thank you very much. Every time i took a shot I tought wow this is the best haha so i get you think they are close. Differences are small but for me also the third one was the best. Thanks for watching apriciate your comment. Grt guido
I think we agree on that one. There is something different to that image, although I can't even tell exactly what it is. More balance or something. Thanks for watching and your comment. I appreciate it. 🙏 grt guido
I agree that number 3 was the best of the bunch, the patterns work out well the most. Don’t beat yourself up for forgetting the polariser, I always forget mine and my NDs too all the time even when I meant to go out and shoot long exposures or in water 🤣 I think you worked the scene out really carefully and well. Always great to shoot with other photographers, hope I get the chance some day with you!
You're always welcome to join me that would be so much fun. Yeah the stupid thing is that I always have that set in my bag. But I used the polariser for a thumbnail the week before so photographed the filter to show it but then never put it back in my bag. And like you said I went out to make specific images where I could use it... ah yeah still got away with one of my favorite images. Thanks for watchibg again. Grt guido
Hi Guido, nice video again. Of the three shots with the yellow bush they each bring a different feeling to them I like them all three. Nr. 1 and nr. 2 the yellow bush is between thicker trees in the background, somehow creating a balanced scene. Nr. 3 the bush is in front of some thicker trees, creating a more lively scene. I like your macro shots too! But maybe my favorite shot is the one with the clear reflections of the trees, it has a calming and soothing atmosphere.
O wow would not have expected that you would like that image the most. For me it was a bit of a rushed shot. Just to shoot something but when I looked at it at home it looked prety descent so kept it in the video. But wouldn't have taken much or I would have left it out. Thanks for watching again. Apreciate it. Grt guido
Ah thanks funny that everyone has its own taste. It shows that photography is very subjective. Thanks for watching and your comment I appreciate it! Grt guido
Hello Guido, great video. I like the 3rd image. Tell your fellow ambassador friend the macro shots were great, especially the mushrooms coming out of the tree with the sun muted behind, SUPERB. As always a great video and well appreciated. Thanks
Haha the macro images were also shot by me. I just looked a little and specialy copy these little tiny deer shaped once that created that forest. But I still have much to learn from her so much to see in that tiny world. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it 🙂 grt guido
Thank you they are all nice and I actually can't tell why that last one is the best for me. There is just something different to that one. Maybe more balanced out or something. But that's maybe what makes it good for me it gives me a happy feeling without even knowing why, haha. Thanks for watching and your comment. Realy apreciate it 🙏 grt guido
Thank y I u very much that yellow leaf in the pond is just such a strange shot. I never took a shot that looked like it before. A lucky find, I guess 🙂 thabks for watching, and your comment appreciate it grt guidi
Thank you very much. I'm just doing my best as usual. The third one is one of my favourite images of this year. Still amazed by that shot something so different then usual. Thanks for watching. Grt guido
Inspiring as always Guido. I am passionate about finding abstraction in nature and those first three images of the small branch poking out from the pond are just the sort thing I love. I like the third composition the most. Personally I would have spent a lot more time at that pond, as I know from experience, a wealth of opportunity exists in those situations where you have reflections and refraction in the water. You just need some rippling across the surface of the water and the magic starts.
Well you didn't see it in the video but I think we've spend around 2 hours around that pond haha. And got back to it when we walked to the car and looked at it again but I think this was the best that I could do there. Thanks for watchibg i apreciate it! Grt guido
Guido, thanks for sharing this video. What I appreciate most is your careful, compositional analysis of each scene. Often I tend to see a nice composition and do a shot without giving careful consideration to all the different possibilities -- consequently I sometimes might miss a composition that would be much more appealing than the one I captured. By the way, I agree with you that #3 from the first series is the best -- I like the balance of the lighter reflections on the left with the brightness of the leaves against a darker background on the right. Nice Work!
Thank you. Yeah, I always say it's all in the details, and I really believe that. Sometimes, it's just moving around a couple of cm to the right or left, and It can improve the image a lot. But sometimes I'm also like you. Get somewhere, and I just know that it's the image, and no moving around is necessary. Thanks for watching and your comment. I appreciate it 🙏 grt guido
What a great day for a walk. Lovely stream . I think a polarizer would have hindered, or possibly resulted in something entirely different. Shows how slight changes in perspective entirely change tings. The macros were like a forest within a forest.
I didn't even notice those macro forests. Not entirely happy with that shot. I think more of the "forest" should have been in focus. But I do agree with you I probably would never have done the long exposure when i would have got the polariser. All in all i think some really amazing results. Pictures that I don't take very often. Thanks for watching. Grt guido
Wow Guido, that is beautiful!! Love the reflection photo's a lot. (My favourite is nr 3) Did also some reflections in my autumn photo's trips. But yours are stunning!!! Thank you for the video!
I've been searching for a yellow tree in a beautiful forest for a long time. The moment when I noticed this reflection I knew it was absolutely perfect. Lucky enough there wasn't to much wind so the long exposure wasn't ruined. Thanks for watching and yournkind word I apreciate it 🙂 grt guido
Hello Guido The first three images are amazing. I can't decide which one is the best. Werke the macros are from Janneke? I hoped to shoot some dreamy Winter images with snow, but we got so much snow, that the dream become a nightmare. Grt Ernesto
I saw on the news that the south of Germany had some extreme snowfall. There was snow predicted here, but nothing came, unfortunately. Drove to Belgium yesterday for some snow photography. Hope everything will be solved quickly for you and that you cab enjoy it a little 😊 all macro shots in this video are shot by myself. thanks for watching. Grt guido
@@GuidoVanDeWater All macros from you. Janneke is a gold teacher :-). At the moment no chance going to the woodland. 30 to 50cm snow is no fun going through. On the the other side there is no place parking the car. Can only make a photo drive instad of a photo walk ;-).
Thanks. I always find it fascinating to see that everyone has his own taste and opinion. Once you realise that then you know that you can't always make a picture that everyone likes. That's the reason why everyone should make pictures that they like themselves. If someone else then likes it is only an advantage. Thanks you both apreciate the comment 🙂 grt guido

I love all the first images. I think I like number 2 the most. But it’s like choosing between 3, 5/5 star images :))
Thank you very much for taking the time to comment and for watching the video. Always nice that people apreciate the videos I make 🙂 the differences are so small that it is hard to choose I guess. Grt guido
Number 1!!!!
Ahh fun your the first number one. It is always nice to see that photography is subjective to opinion. Thanks for watching. Grt guido
No. 3 for me but a close race between them all. Fantastic images
Thank you very much. Every time i took a shot I tought wow this is the best haha so i get you think they are close. Differences are small but for me also the third one was the best. Thanks for watching apriciate your comment. Grt guido
I would frame all three but the third is the best in my eyes.
I think we agree on that one. There is something different to that image, although I can't even tell exactly what it is. More balance or something. Thanks for watching and your comment. I appreciate it. 🙏 grt guido
#2 is my favorite, miminal but very effective.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate your comment! Grt guido
