There's a whole bunch of theories on how her being royal blood, and her promised to "find grisha no matter what form she takes", but she didn't "go" for carla. If the theory is correct, she intended to find Grisha there but ended up eating Carla.
This is one of the best AOT tracks, but overall I honestly prefer Kill la Kill's OST to AOT's by a long shot (both by Sawano). Other OSTs on the level of Kill la Kill for me are FMA (2003) and FMAB, Fate/Grand Order Babylonia, High Score Girl, some Yuki Kajiura works like Madoka Magica or some Fate works,... (I'm probably forgetting some), but my favorites and the ones I think are the best are Kara no Kyoukai (by Yuki Kajiura) and Monogatari (OST by Satoru Kosaki and Kei Haneoka).

The part from 2:16 to 3:13 is by far strongest of this track. Reflects almost every emotion. And it is unbelievable how strong it builds up to the end. Imaging this as a level in a game with a level 200 levelcap, at 2:16 it already start with lvl 200, 2:31 with lvl 300, but then 2:46 it goes up to lvl 10000 and at 2:59 it goes beyond everything, limitless.

It's a shame what Isayama did to Historia's character. She had such a great character arc through seasons 2-3, but she was completely discarded in the final chapters. However, I still applaud Isayama for writing amazing female characters during the early half of AOT. Not many shounen authors manage to write layered and complex female characters. Ymir (freckles) especially stood out.

I can't possibly believe they managed to attach the hooks to every piece of Titan meat that was falling down, right? And no way the ODM gear has a range of well over 50 meters of attachment lines. So what were they suspended by?
The mangaka wouldn't have drawn that part in if it was in, but they can certainly get by with gas expulsion from their gear if they had stocked up before doing it.
