Might be good to check and grease the steering stem bearing while you're at it. If the linkage was that bad, I bet the steering one is dry as well. Enjoying the videos, good luck!
Lock on grips are never easy to put on or take off on the non-throttle side. That's why I just stick with the old school style cause you'll end up with blisters either way!
Unfortunately new bikes arent being put together with hardly any grease and is worth mentioning. Getting fancy with your own clothing line hehe. You do realize if you ever end up with a action figure doll I will have to strap one to the front of my bike haha. Stay safe
Since your that far, before you put the bars on you should do the steering stem bearings (hopefully they aren’t like the linkage bearing) atleast take a peak and clean and regrease
Don't people know that part of owning mx bikes is taking the dam thing apart to grease moving parts. THINGS TO GREASE TWICE A SEASON... steering headset bearings. Swingarm pivot. Linkage pivots. Shock bearings. Wheel bearings. Caliper pins. Lever pivots. In 40 years of riding mx bikes I have NEVER let any of my bikes bearings look like what Noah found.
Next time u come to ga, there is a place that the kenda full gas sprint series does in typically august called rock crusher. There is some really gnarly singletrack there sure to challenge anyone I think you would really like the farm it's got a variety of everything really challenging place to test your skills
Are you Gonna run flexx bars on this bike and do you prefer flexx bars or the mako 360 clamps because I’m looking to get one of them just don’t know what one?
Can't wait to see the finished product.
I'm loving this series. The finished project is gonna be awsome!!
Fun watch. That guy sold at the right time.
Next time when you want to take off grips use a air compressor. it work great they will slide right off.
Not when the end is cut out of them for the bark busters
They are also lock ons so unfortunatley that won't work

Do a search on nitrile gloves, find the 8mil thick ones. Way better for your hands! :)

I appreciate it bro!
Yo, live across the boarder in Kansas, would love to ride together and learn some things from you man!
But it was ready to race?! haha! Sad how many people out there dont take care of their machines
Right!?😂
You should unscrew all the handlebar equipment before unscrewing the handlebar itself.
Poor man's Mako 360 clamps, just loosen bar clamps a little.
Oh no😂😂😂
