But now Dangote should now feel what Ibeto cement and other manufacturers government destroyed their businesses just to give him a monopoly in Nigeria. this is exactly what a lot of stupid Nigerians don't realize.
Dangote has destroyed, destroyed, i repeat destroyed alot of other people's businesses and source of livelihood.
He has never played fair but always uses government power to strong-arm his competitors out of market.
Dangote has had a monopolistic stranglehold on entire industries, please can anyone tell me how much the average Nigerian who works at Dangote earns? Can anyone show me the scholarships and other social investment that Dangote has made in Nigeria? All we hear of is how he donated to this politician and that politician but never to the average person.
Please remember Dangote under Buhari's government single-handedly destroyed the Nigerian economy, not only did he have access to forex at favorable rates, he literally had the border open for him and only him at the time when the border was shut to everyone else.
This same man destroyed the Nigerian Railway Corporation to benefit his trailer business in the 80s.
I have no pity for Dangote whatsoever. Whatever he gets, he deserves.

But the government is right. Why should they give him monopoly of oil? Does he think this is flour or sugar or cement?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

His biggest problem is trying to disrupt the fuel supply chain and remodel it around his refinery. That is not going to be easy because the supply chain supports businesses worthy trillions of Naira. And it provides livelihood for several people from low, through middle to high class.

It was a wrong business gamble by him. He would be selling oil cheaper than imported oil, thereby spoiling business for powerful people in the industry.

Tinubu govt: Buy made in Nigeria products.
Tinubu govt again: Nigeria products are not of quality
Nigerian people: so na we like inferior products

No matter who is right or wrong and no matter Dangote's point, the fact remains that his past antecedents and mode of business operation makes it difficult for anyone to trust the man. Nigerians till date are aware of his past and present anti-business practices dubiously enabled and supported by those bank-rolling his operations over the years. As soon as he started this refinery he immediately embarked on creating another monopolistic venture as he used to. Let Dangote and the Regulator come out with their fact so the world can know who is telling the truth!
