The Reality of Being a Woman in Korea

  • I join one of my favorite people in Seoul and chat about our experiences as 30/40-something divorcees that chose the unconventional life!
This was super impromptu and candid - I met my friend at the cafe, sat down, and asked if she was up for a chat on video. I told her what topics I generally wanted to touch on and she was totally game! One of the many reasons why she's one of my favorite people!

Thanks for the honest conversation! This video came up on my TH-cam homepage, and I believe I may have seen a TikTok video of yours when you moved from NYC to Mexico? I love seeing other women who live courageously and authentically. I have a similar story. I'm an Asian American female who worked for 10+ years in Silicon Valley. In 2020 I moved to Hawaii, and I started documenting my journey. I left the tech industry for entrepreneurship & content creation (on my own terms).
Cheering for you! Keep using your voice and sharing your story. You are helping many. 💛

Yes that was me! I just moved back to NYC to explore some new opportunities, but what an incredible experience that was.
Your story is so inspiring! Thank you so much for the words of encouragement, they really mean a lot. Especially as I try to navigate this (YT) part of my journey!
Cheering for you as well!! 🤗

I mean every country has their own set of rules and there's a reason why they are adopting it... can't always be a westernised approach...
