I find this song absolutely heartbreaking in its perfection. Jon is mourning his daughter's death whilst playing this song for her. You can SEE his pain in this playing. Bravo, Jon. Bravo.

@@johnadams4102 Yeah the timing fits. This was released on TH-cam about 2 months after they found his daughter. So it was probably being filmed and produced while they were searching for her. It's heartwrenching.
What happened to her daughter?
@@lavyumor She went hiking and fell off a cliff. When he was recording this video they were actively searching for her after she went missing. This video was released shortly after they found her body at the foot of the cliff.
At the end of the song you can even hear the unmistakeable sound of the most famous 6 notes from “It is Well”, the great Christian hymn for tragic loss.
My little girl was 3 when she first heard the song sang by TPG. She was so touched she started crying. Now, a year latter, she falls asleep almost every night listening to it. Thank you guys ❤️

Beautiful arrangement, beautiful music. Our family absolutely loves you guys. Anytime our two-year old daughter hears piano, she yells out "Pi Guys!" Jon, you actually dedicated a song from me to my wife for our 6th anniversary back in 2010...something we'll never forget. Actually it is the setting which is like La La Land whereas the song is of Ed Sheeran.
It's probably the way the lighting focuses only on the pianist and after the song is over all the lights in the restaurant go on again.
Just watch La La Land and you'll know what I mean. Lighting is something they have used extensively in that movie.

I believe that those 2.6k people who disliked this video must have done so out of jealousy. Can’t those people think how much effort and the millions of hours spent behind the scenes just to play this 5 minute song? Jon did not play this song just to showcase his talent in music. I believe that music is a shared passion. People who are jealous of others lack self confidence and thinks that others are better than them. Jealousy may be a good thing as it may push you to work harder but over jealousy will result in bad circumstances.
