Hard breeds hard and tough breeds tough. What Oakley brought to the table is hardcore work and that's actually helpful. Ewing didn't really take it and Oakley had a championship mentality even though he was stuck with Ewing. I really thought they could get things done in Toronto with that team with Vince Carter, Oakley, Dell Curry, Tracy McGrady, Antonio Davis, that type of team -- that team was solid and I hated why they let the Sixers win, the Sixers were terrible with Iverson in 2000, I don't care how good Iverson was that team was trash, couldn't compete.
There are players that respond better when you get in they face about what the doing or not doing. That passive aggressive political non confrontational behavior is weak. That’s why some players want every one to play with them and wonder why the team don’t win as much as the should and the coaches get fired. That old school style like oak breeds a culture and an attitude of winning.

Bro I really believe we are living in a new generation of soft athletes. Truthfully most of these guys do not like or care for anyone to emphasize their weakness as athletes. You would think that they will say to themselves how I can better myself as an athlete and person.
