I recognize that journal! My signature is in the back. Lol 😂, I’m excited to see what you do to it! The note saying “two part cc paper” was on the page that has the invisible carbon copy paper I rescued from the bin at one of my old workplaces.
@@rubyus7332 LOL! Awwww, that’s very sweet! Thank you! 2024 is my year to hopefully start making content, but I haven’t been able to record until recently. Fingers crossed I have time! It’s gonna be a good year!
Hi Pam thanks for a great channel. Every time I fell like I’m loosing the fun part of my crafting sessions I tune into your channel and you remind me that it’s about having fun and enjoying the process. Thank you!,🎉
Good morning Crafty people. I’ll add some of these ideas to a journal that I’m putting final touches on. I’m personalizing a journal for a gal that likes witches, skulls, ravens and steampunk and cats. It’s actually been a hoot combining these themes together. I’m like a kid with a candy jar. I may not know when to stop!
i have missed you i have so many people i watch .you make me smile ,i make lots of 1 signature books,i use them for my art journals ,sunny looks so cute and fluffy
Pam, your casual expertise in explaining things is underrated! The other day, just as an experiment, I tried describing what I was doing out loud while I was doing it. I don’t think I ever finished a sentence. I can concentrate, and I can talk-but not simultaneously!
I was given a traveller's size journal in a package of ephemera, papers and washi stickers for Christmas. I've never had a journal so small or coordinating papers and ephemera before! 😂 And it's so pretty, I'm scared I will mess it up! 😮 I did create 2 pockets and some clusters so far. 😂 Decisions, decisions! I love your ideas on adding pages! I need to do this in my journal I'm using now. It's a bit gator mouthed! 😂 Thank you! ❤😊
I just love your videos and your witty comments😂I am from South Africa and I am brand new to junk journalling. Busy watching videos and making ephemera for my first 2 journals, which I am going to try and make next month❤
Pam, Could you sometime use the colored Victorian type papers and prints that are so pretty and stickers? I enjoy your each day you are on with my coffee!
Good afternoon Pam! ❤ After 2+ full weeks using the (new) Scotch Permanent (not Create) stick…. I will only say, I’m now looking for a different brand and using Art Glitter glue much more. I think I tried every brand of glue stick (some still languishing in a drawer) known to man years ago when I was beginning to make junk journals, so not sure what to try now. 😢 May use some of your ideas as something different in current project. I’m in a same ol’ same ol’ rut. 😊 Hope you had a great holiday! ❤ 🎄
@@adrinem4513 I’ll check my ‘extras’ drawer and see if I have one of those to give another try. I remember the various Gorilla sticks were useless, but can’t remember the Elmer’s. Today I had to re-glue (with art glitter glue this time) backing I’d glued (with Scotch Permanent) to 3 tags yesterday. Never had to re glue the entire backing paper before. 😟
Mornin' Pam. I'm STILL working on Christmas stuff. 😜 Glad you (and probably everyone else) get to move on. I'll get there, eventually. Hope you all have a great day. 🌞
I certainly enjoyed this video! I always feel like there's never enough writing space once the pages are beautified. Maybe you can stir things up a bit in the journal world and come up with even more ideas to expand the writing spots... even while making signatures too and yet enabling beautification? Just a grandosious thought 😅
Love this one! I gave my daughter a Christmas journal but I couldn’t find my ephemera that I had made so this will be great to make up for her to put into the journal! ❤️📕🇨🇦
Well, this idea came in the nick of time. I was looking at a JJ I did that I thought was a little skimpy and this video helped me not to think so hard.
This is absolutely perfect timing for me today! I unearthed a jj I made ages ago and am now decorating. These page ideas will be a wonderful addition to my journal. Thank you ❤
Hello Pam. Just a thought. The metal ruler you used with the cork strip on the back is supposed to be used cork side down to hold the papers firmer and keep them from sliding, however you didn't seem to be having a problem with papers slipping. Love your videos!!!
She’s explained in past videos that she gets a better tear if she puts it upside down. The cork makes a space between the metal edge and the ruler and can make it tear where you don’t want. When she’s cutting with a craft knife, she usually puts it cork side down. 😁
Good morning Pam. Did you develop an accent as the video progressed. I wasn’t sure who I was listening to. Anyway, you have fantastic ideas and I enjoy all of your videos. When my little dog hears your voice, he knows there will be no playtime until the video is done. Happy new year to you, to Sunny, and to all the outpostians.
Pam, I think the new Scotch glue is not the same formula. I have experienced that it’s not as a strong hold like the old packaging. They even changed the label. I thought I was sent the wrong glue stick at first.
Scotch permanent was made before Scotch Create. I was told by a former employee that the Create was the same formulas as the regular they already had, but repackaged and charged more money for it. Who knows?🤷♀️
What if I've got a spread (so right and left sides ) and I've already decorated with ephemera and have found I want to add more (because I've got a themed spread going on and found more pieces) how can I extend the spread page out without flipping to the prior or next page if that makes sense? I want to continue the theme on that spread that's laid out. I'm struggling. :/
It’s a dauber. They are available at Micheal’s along side the inks etc. I didn’t use them for a long time and then I thought I’d try it. I went back and retroactively inked all the unlinked paper!😂
I enjoy your ideas and creativity and thank you for sharing. I do wished you “spoke” less. I get anxiety with all the talking and have to leave each time. It becomes jabber. I don’t mean to be rude but I like to focus on the projects.

I know some people may frown when I say this but I have had excellent results with Elmer’s X-Treme glue stick. That stuff is strong! FYI. 🥰🌻

Yay! You found your cork back ruler! My cork back is my favorite, too. I've had it since 2011, when I had to purchase it for a college art class 💕💕
What a fun way to play with paper. We probably all have journals like this that need little extra somethings.
