With the satirical humor you might enjoy Babbitt by Sinclair Lewis. Very cutting and cynical humor at times! I'm going to try to find the Fig Tree - you've sold me!
I can’t remember if you’ve read Voltaire’s Candide (I feel like I remember you talking about it before though) but the writing style sounds similar! I loved the humor in Candide so I might have to pick up this book as well. Also if you like older tv, Frasier is a great show for similar humor.
oh my gosh yes I absolutely LOVE Candide! it’s one of my favorite classics! it’s so nice to know others geek out over that type of satire as well 🥰🤍🫶🏼✨
Hi, me and my best friend are looking forward to watching your vlog. We are enjoying your videos. We are guys who enjoy hauls, shopping, reviews, travel, reaction and decorating vlogs.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! it looks way more like a peperomia than a golden pothos, so the plant identifying app was way off 😅 because of your comment, I can now give it better care & I have already moved the plant to a new location so hopefully it will thrive! thank you again! 🤍
I hope you get your 5⭐️ read soon! I don't know if it'll help, but as a fellow Lit Fic fan I can offer my most recent fivers: ⭐️ The Tree Doctor by Marie Mutsuki Mockett ⭐️ Evenings & Weekends by Oisín McKenna ⭐️ You Should Be So Lucky by Cat Sebastian ⭐️ Icarus by K. Ancrum ⭐️ Gilgamesh: A Verse Narrative by Herbert Mason ⭐️ Open Throat by Henry Hoke ⭐️ The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida by Shehan Karunatilaka ⭐️ Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver

Not a golden pothos - I think it’s a peperomia but I’m not 100% on that. Def not a golden pothos tho!

It's refreshing to see a young lady interested in literature of the 1950s (The Fig Tree). A rare sight these days
