I honestly feel that cersei is a very underrated character, should deserve more credit than what she already is getting. A character that is so well-built, one that is governed by love yet can be so ruthless and merciless. So ironic and paradoxical, yet is weaved so beautifully into a single character. I don't think many people appreciate her or understand her ruthlessness towards others, she is ruthless to protect her children in the earlier seasons, but eventually fights for herself and tries to break out from her fate after knowing that everything Maggie the Frog says is ordained. She is probably the most flawed flawless character in the show and dare I say that she is one of the most beautifully written characters in the show. A true character shaped by her circumstances.
Wee Su ying I disagree about the governed by love part. “He betrayed me” is not a response you give to your child’s suicide. I feel that Cercei wasn’t beneath picking & choosing who she loved, such a small circle based on trust & it only grew smaller until the bitter end.
That’s the power of Lena’s acting. She has spent the last 10 years making audience despise her with every fibre in their body but in her last moments, you see a fragile, broken and frightened mother-to-be who, after all this time, is still a human just like the rest of us.
I've never been disgusted with her character. I always was and still am full of admiration. She was the strongest character, truly and perfectly played by Lena Headey. Thank you for that video. You should be proud of yourself as I'm proud that I'm wearing her and Myrcella's necklace.
The best Character, the best actress and the best editor. I love this and her so much and even though I cried my jesrt out the moment she died I was kinda happy that she died with jaime and was not a triumph for dany. But this is probably the best edit ever!!♡

Cersei did terrible things, but it wasn’t like she was the antagonist, she did it for her family, the same as the Starks, the same as Daenerys. Cersei loved her children more than anything. Daenerys loves her children more than anything. They both burnt their city to the ground, and when The Dragon is burning king’s Landing, the dragon fire mixed with the Green fire, that’s a symbolism of that. You displayed all of that in this video, you perfectly captured her character, her life, the relationships to other characters she had in her life. She was ruthless, but only because of what others did to her. Thank you for this masterpiece.
I felt Cersei's unhappiness began with the death of her first born son whom she conceived with Robert Baratheon, that death almost drove her to madness and was a symbol of her failing marriage to Robert. Thanks for mentioning it, a lot of people brush past it but for me it is a pivotal moment in understanding the depths of this character.
⚜️I see Sansa as her heir, afterall she was a surrogate mother to her. She raised her to be a realistic woman, she did take her time to correct her fantasies and not leaved her to be a sentimental foolish girl when she very well could have but didn't - she did have a heart and not only for her children contrary to the common take on her. And I believe there to be a soft spot in there for little and unprotected girls(from her experiences as one. Her feeling the need to give life lessons to Sansa, the look on her eyes when she is looking at Sansa and the look she has when she looks at and talks about Mrycella, her actions when Mrycella was beeing shipped off to Dorne for political gain and her reaction at Tywin every time he brings up the issue of him marrying herself off again; it all adds up ) just like Tyrion had for criples, bastards and broken things-. Because she knew everywhere in the world they hurt little girls from her own experience in that world she tried to shape the little bird who believed in songs,love and, power and justice of the Gods into a strong women with her advises on life , educating her of realities of beeing a woman in that world. 👑🦁 👑🐺

Cersei didnt deserve all the hate she gets from the fandom. She isn't actually evil or curel for the sake of cruelty. She had a difficult life, being bullied by her father, unloved and disrespected by her huaband, and constantly threatened by invaders and usurpers. She did everything she could to protect her children and herself and I admire her for that. She knew how to keep her power, and she wasnt afraid to destroy anyone who tried to take it. Plus most of her "evil" acts are revenge for herself or her children. Many people on the show go around inflicting terror and cruelty for no good reason and they're not despised. Plus none of the characters were beacons of morality. Why is Cersei despised for incest but Jaime isn't? All the men went around doing all kids of immoral acts and that was ok, but Cersei should be hanged for her sins. Why?? I think Cersei was too powerful and too perfect looking that people just couldn't bear it.
