- This was inspired by some meta I read on tumblr about Jaime, Cersei and beauty, how they perceive beauty and how Cersei is afraid that her time is running out, but Jaime still sees her as the most beautiful woman ever even to the point where he is deluding himself. I also think that there must have been a time when Jaime and Cersei were, if not happy, then at least content, and I tried to show that in the video.
And also, what is it with this couple, that I started out not shipping them at all and now they're my #1 ship for asoiaf.

This is so nicely made. Cersei is such a complicated character, and with all her mistakes, I still often feel sorry for her. This video shows why. I especially like the flashbacks you use for Cersei.

And the song is about a woman talking about how sure she is about her loved one and his love even when she's old. And Cersei knows that Jaime will love her no matter what. Even when he knows what she is. And this is why they're my favourite couple. If they weren't siblings it would be the most romantic story in GoT. Well it still is.

I ship Cersei and Jamie so hard so I kinda liked the last episode because Cersei and Jamie got to die together. (If Jamie had ended up with Breiene I would have been so pissed)

Seriously I can write whole pages why I hate Brienne. She was a useless character and really Gwendoline wasn't a good actress after all. She had an easy likeable character and even then if it weren't for changing Jaime she would be vivid. But I would like to see Jaime and Brienne together in season eight. Just having Jaime remember all the good times with Cersei and after seeing that it won't work with Brienne go back. This made him a real jerk. Abandoning his pregnant sister and love,them fucking Brienne only to go back to her. Or I would to see Jaime staying with Brienne raising Cersei's son. Then the boy would be really like:You let them kill my mother and Jaime feeling really guilty and just Cersei hunting his dreams. Her being young again with a baby in her arms at their nice times together. I'd just love that.

This is one of my all time favourite Cersei and Jaime videos!! It's so PERFECT!!!*-* The song is just amazing and I liked that it looked as if they *both* wonder if the other one will still love them when they're not longer young and beautiful^^ because I think Jaime has also doubts after being captured and having his hand cut off since he can't be the knight he was before! And also I like that you have put so many happy scenes in it, you don't see that often in Jaime and Cersei videos lol:)

Actually I think Cersei is more concerned about her looks fading and thus also about Jaime's looks fading, because in their patriarchal society her power has always depended on her looks and her looks fading means her power is fading, too. It doesn't mean she doesn't love Jaime.
That the loved each other is beyond doubt. If only they were born Targaryens many troubles would have been avoided.

BlackCousins4life you are right, it's just that so many people hate her :/ and they have their point.. haha i have to admit i kind of hated her when read her first POV, but i think it was because of the impact of being for the first time in her head and realizing she is kind of a bitch and crazy woman :/ maybe i wanted her to value more Jaime, just as he does, but then i understood the character. God, this couple is a masterpiece!
+Daniela stor Yeah, Cersei's POV does take you like that, but we never got her POV in the first book, when she was still competent, getting rid of Ned and all. We only got her chapters after things started going bad for her and she was growing more and more paranoid (and ya know, she has good reason to be suspicious of the Tyrells). I don't think she doesn't value Jaime, she just doesn't recognize him anymore. Like, after he got back from stark!prison, his priorities completely changed. Suddenly he wanted to be an honourable knight and clean up the Kingsguard and she was no longer his first priority and she felt rejected, I think. And the golden hand, shaved head and the beard are physical manifestations of how much he has changed so she hates it, without quite knowing why. At one point she even thinks "How could I have ever loved him?" and then immediately feels guilty and thinks "he was your twin, your other half". Like, if we'd got Cersei's POV in book one I'm sure her thoughts about Jaime would have been a lot more loving. But they're sort of having Relationship Problems TM now. And oh god, SORRY FOR THE ESSAY lol, I got carried away :D

yeah i have always felt it exactly like that. Since he was back, on her trip with Brienne he has changed, or at least realized that he is done with all that shit of pretending in front of everyone, up to the point that he ask her to marry him and tell everyone the truth! He tells her that they can rule as a queen and his king, as he knows how important it is to her. Also in his desperation to connect with her he asks her to leave everything to be together, that he doesn't care about the crown and would give up to everything.
They are twins and in their minds, just as they were born together, they have to die together and go through life together, as one. But he realize that even if they are together again, it's not the same. they are apart. He has grown as a person, but she is stuck. They both are afraid at realizing that that special thing they have, has changed in some way, like they are becoming 2 independent people or something like that. They are not one whole anymore, and that is everything they have always known so it terrified them. She even replies "what have they done to you? you have changed" "you are scaring me" (when he ask her to marry him) and leaves him there.
You are right, i would die to read some POV of Cersei way before he is taken prisoner. I hope some day GRRM write a book about Robert's rebellion with POVs of these two..

Jaime gave up everything for her, Joined the Kingsguard, never touched another woman and what was she doing in return? Well Lancel and Kettleblack :) She was also to leave him for Rhaegar and again for Robert....They just happened to not work out...

I disagree. She loved him in the only way she knew how to love someone. Can you imagine Cersei being romantic? lol she was consumed with the prophesy and need to keep the power in order to save her kids. Everything else became blurred, and even Jaime at times. But he was the only man she kept by her side. The only one she had kids with. The only one she cried to and showed her fears, her weaknesses. And she always turned to him when she needed someone. People say she was just using him, cause she did use sex as her weapon. But he was a proud Lannister, he would've helped her no matter what. She was a family. She didn't need to manipulate him that way, tho' she sometimes did, cause that's her way. She needs to be in control always. When she said they belong together, she truly means it. We can say Jaime's love was more visible. Cersei's was more hidden, behind her love for kids and fear for them, hunger for the power and honor for their house, seeking for her father's approval, and hate/need for revenge... But at the end, in those last moment before they died, you can see her love as much as his.

uhh Young & Beautiful? the actor for Jaimme Lannister was in his early 40s when he started acting for Game of Thrones lol... he wasn't young at all. And the actress for Cersai was in her late 30 when she started... was in her 40s throughout most of the show. Neither of them are young. But, they are beautiful though.
