Madison---you are a wonderful role model for all young spirits. Our world is a better place with you in it. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to help others. G.O.A.T. for sure.
Madison, you are a fantastic promoter for the airforce and all the other things you stand for, I've seen you being crowned congratulations, thanks for sharing
What a great gal Madison is. She’s a tough yet positive lady, acquainted with pain yet not defeated by it! She profoundly reminds me of my late wife. I wish you all could have met Virginia (also Seigel). She was another Colorado hard charging gal-Bible School, 9 honor CSU grad, ROTC & Army apex performer, CH-47 aviator. She was a war veteran too. We thought we’d have her for 40-50 more years. We lost her June 17, 2021 when she with our second grandchild, Elise, crashed her Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee (N6323R) in Rush Valley, Tooele County, Utah.
She is an awesome person who will no doubt serve her country well. BUT, not sure we should be calling her Veteran of the Week, as she is not a veteran. Being a military cadet does not make you a veteran, as she has not yet actually served. Lets try this after she has completed her time and lived up to her expectations. God speed on your journey, and thank you for your future service.
She will be a great pilot and officer , she has a lot of strings to her bow ! Have you watched the video of her F16 familiarisation flight , and flight suit fitting , shes a very grounded lovely person on the basis of that !
I did see that. Any yes, I agree with everything you said. Just dont think we should be calling people veterans who have not yet lived up to that title or even served yet. Thats just the opinion of this veteran and many more. @@justincase6645
A veteran is a person who served in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable. I know because I am one. Great story though.
The airforce from San Francisco is negociating my information . I like tô recovery my information, i need to go back to US soon as possible. I need instroctions .
How is she a "veteran" when she didn’t even graduate the military academy? You can’t find someone who actually fought for our country. Cool story but she is not a vet.
@@myronwheatley1637 Actually I do know because I served for 20 years and did 2 combat tours to Iraq. How could she have a DD214 when she is in the academy or just recently graduated? You receive a DD214 when you are no longer on Title 10 active duty. I am just saying. Plus the term veteran is used and abused. I mean, someone who has served for an extended period of time in some of the most dangerous environments in the world compared to someone who just signed the dotted line, well there is a difference. She is an amazing person and has done amazing things, I just feel the media are exploiting her military service.
Will definitely be watching her being crowned Miss America!👍❤️✌️
And she was!

Great interview! You did a great job of asking then listening-----not interrupting at all like most others do. Really appreciate you posting this!
GREAT video/interview!! Please make sure as many "young" people as possible have the opportunity to see it 🫡 🇺🇸
continue to AIM HIGH

La felicito. Ojalá decida en un futuro, ser comandante en aerolínea comercial. Cálido beso para ella. Y una hermosa csusa; en memoria de su madre.

Shes not a pilot. Wgy the fck does everyone keep saying she is? She went on a familiarization flight. Once.
She's a private pilot.

Well you don’t know your stuff do you? If they give you a DD214 you are a veteran.

Why can’t you just be happy for her? She’s training to be a pilot, earning a Master’s degree and now she’s Miss America. 🇺🇸
She is NOT a veteran. A veteran is someone who HAS erved, not someone who IS serving!
Veteran of the week? No offense meant but she’s a senior @ the academy, is she even a butterbar yet? She’s an awesome kid but come on.
This was filmed or posted 9 months ago. She has graduated and received her commissioned, so yes, she is already a “butter bar”.
