@jeaniekim9951 In my own experiences working with others, I've found that people who have 1) worked in very difficult fields to achieve success AND 2) did so with a commitment/upbringing in lifelong learning and/or service (as she mentions in her interview) are more likely to be accepting of others, to understand and accept their own or others' limits, and ultimately to be humble or at least realistic. A balanced exposure to both failures AND successes in the face of challenges scaled to a person's abilities helps give them perspective in the course of building greater abilities and skills. Recognizing but not settling for limits, if you will. Madison Marsh's educational, professional, and personal challenges definitely tick the boxes for all the above. I'd argue that people like Sam Bankman-Fried, Martin Shkreli, and Elizabeth Holmes OTOH were fed an imbalanced diet of successes without sufficient exposure to failures, leading them to take ever greater risks until they hit a risk they did not survive career-wise. Also, lack of focus on and incentive for valuing and helping others, but that one's obvious.
from her Wikipedia entry .. Marsh attended Southside High School, and graduated in 2019.
