Very Helpful - I am a volunteer for our local repair cafe. We aim to divert a wide variety of repairable items from landfill. A non working Westclox Big Ben style 8 came in. nothing obvious broken and almost certainly a cleaning and reoiling issue. I would prefer not to take it apart. Would a clean in an ultrasonic bath of the whole movement be likely to work with a reoil afterwards? do you have an email for contact? many thanks
