Watching since the start mate. You have done some epic work in a project that most would have considered too far gone and parted off. You've saved this one.

Brilliant work Adam it’s a real treat to see the old girl slowly being bought back to its former glory I think it’s absolutely amazing how far you’ve got it especially out in the drive it’s not like you’re tucked away in a comfy garage ! I have a lot of respect for you taking on a job like this , wish I had the balls to do it …Fab work fella 👍

When you paint your floor get some stick down sound proofing and it will look brilliant and hide a lot of repairs
Any idears what sound proothing to ise u would have liked to ise similar to what was down before all I can really find is car audio sound proothing I would like somthink like a tar
Seam sealer will hide a multitude of sins inside and out. The car didn't have sound proofing so it's not a priority I'd say. 😊@@AdamSNook.
@@terryatkinson899 yeah im going to use seam sealer im not bothered to much about the welds on top of the floor its underneath i want to make sure is smooth
getting there pal, Once that floor pan is sorted, id say that is another mega mile stone completed. Are you still buying spares for it as you go along? When i was doing the metro rebuild, i was adding some bits and pieces in, Such as the electrics, the previous owner decided to add a later steering column, and cut the cars electrics to get it work. While the cars interior was out, it wasn't hard to replace the full loom, to the later one. With in a matter of days i had the cars dash back in.
i havent got anymore parts as of yet but will be soon i do have all the other parts i orded before i need to make a list so i can tick it off as i go
Yeah , as well as a V8 , id kinda like to drop a BMW M3 straight 6 in a Mk3 cortina too !!!!
yeah or a ford focus st engine hehe
@@AdamSNook. that 5 cylinder is insane engine , i allways loved that Quattro noise .........too
Wish i still had my old mk3 escort ..........gutted !!!
Either you have hands like shovels or that grinder is tiny 😂
You'll wear gloves when that disc explodes 🙄 how do I know that 🫣
It is a tiny grinder does not spin that fast would hiw ever wear gloves when using my big grinder lol safety first and I'm guessing younhave had one shatter on you
@AdamSNook. several times over the years, when you're young things don't bother you but when you're older, you don't heal as fast. Just looking out for you and anyone else I see doing stuff that can hurt you 🫣👍🇮🇪
I have had that also. It was in 1993. I used the big 230mm disc grinder and right after start up, the disc exploded in three pieces. I had two other colleagues working in the hall and fortunately the three pieces missed them. The pieces went through the total distance of the hall. Very scary. Yes, already then we Dutch worked safe.
