It's a Caridina Tank!! Did you guess it right?
Eventually, I want to get fancier shrimps like pintos, galaxies, and blue bolts. These shrimps (although not particularly cheap either) will serve as a cheaper practice alternative for me. Remember when I massacred those Sulawesi Shrimps? (╥﹏╥)

==========
What plants to put in a shrimp tank? Why would you want plants in a shrimp tank? Here are the reasons:
01:37 | Plant as Waste Management
Livestock waste will become nutrients (like nitrates), which is toxic in very high amounts. Plants will absorb and eat up those nutrients and clean your water. In my case, these floating plants out-compete and remove algae from this tank. Algae is quite important food source in a shrimp focused tank. So I opted to remove some of the plants, mainly the floaters.
02:30 | Plants just to make the tank more colorful
As for the Bucephalandra (and Sagittaria subulata), I just like them. They add more colors to the tank. Moreover they are slow growers, they don't absorb nutrients as fast as stem plants or floating plants do.
02:55 | Plants provide cover and surface area for the shrimps to forage on
I also liked Pearlweed, but stem plants do absorb a lot of nutrients like the floaters does, so I removed them too.
(Note: If you want to remove algae from your tank, try floating plants, they have virtually unlimited and concentrated supply of CO2 from air which makes them absolutely OP)

Thanks!! Cheers!
They’re trying to start a red fancy tiger line from scratch knowingly or unknowingly
I think they just got curious and want to see/experiment what would happen if they mix the two, probably
Also by "they" I'm assuming it's the person I got the shrimps from..?
@@mapleandcherry well the person is on the right track for breeding red fancy tiger haha my cull tank has lots of different types of shrimp I just let them breed however they want. They do throw out interesting looks unlike neocaridina.
@@nuyblajih7566 ooh nice, I want to get more of them too soon. I need to make sure first that I'm doing the right things for caridina shrimp. Soon, so far so good, maybe fancy tigers is not so far away as i thought
@@mapleandcherryyup happy shrimp keeping. Just ensure the stuffs you put in such as gravel/rocks are inert not leeching kH. Otherwise you will exhaust your active soil faster
