To me looks and size i would say its a male not doubting your probing but my just 2 year old yellow is already 6 foot and is a bit bigger compared not over feed normal 10 day feed size to width rats and sometimes chicks plus pattern is solid and most females have broken pattern . fairplay if is a female tho 👍
Sounds like a good looking male yellow anaconda you have. 😎👍 I probed this snake 3 times that day, and the probe depth was 3 scales deep. Seeing a consistent 3 scales deep with ZERO variance shows it is indefinitely a female..... unfortunately. She has always been an On/ Off feeder. Sometimes she's a shy feeder, and other times she's ready to take my hand off while I feed haha! It's a behavior I haven't experienced in a snake before. Maybe I should have named her Flip Flop 🤣🤣 But seriously though I think I'm going to try and feed her some quail since I do have that. Anything is worth a try until I succeed.
@@talkingserpents I haven't probe mine but I do the pop and feel test noting there so assuming mine is a female but will be taking to have probe soon definitely worth having a varied diet for these guys mine hasn't missed a meal yet 👍
