4:01 I have not watched Gossip Girl but Marley’s eating disorder was treated the same way in Glee and I didn’t like that. The episode with Mercedes trying out for the Cheerios has a better message about body positivity. Gossip Girl and Glee could have taken notes from shows like Full House and Lizzie McGuire who handled this topic much better.
the fact the number 1 is Dan stalking and now the actor who played him, is in the Netflix tv show You, which is basically him being a stalker and killer 👀

I think we can all agree that these teenagers are kinda problematic, but who wasn't by their age? What I believe is one of the main reasons why they get so toxic sometimes is the fact that most of them don't have good examples at home. When it comes to parents, Serena, Blair, Chuck and Nate were especially f*cked. Even Dan's dad committed some nasty mistakes. The money, the glamour and parties aside, I believe things could've been different it they had good, realible, down to earth parents.

Yep and Dan and Serena never did grow up and never really did anything of note with the exception of 1 book. They are the worst characters and actually the most toxic couple. Sure Blair and Chuck did fucked up things but they actually changed and did important things.

My Favourite teen show is the O.C but it being the one and only teen show I watch. Gossip Girl One Tree Hill The Vampire Diaires and last of all Gilmore Girls were all Noughties shows and they made thier mark which turned them into classics which to me will always be a gulity pleasure of mine no matter how toxic and the bad reputation it got the Noughties had the best TV shows hands down
