I’m 16 years old and I have the LE hybrid 2020 Camry It’s a insane job, I recommend this car if you’re looking to buy one. The interior and comfort in that car is a dream, also it won’t take up much of your gas payment really good to travel with.
The reviewer said that he was driving fairly hard. I'm getting 52 MPG US out of my 2019 hybrid with the air conditioning on all the time in summer (2019 Toyota Camry Australian version 4.5 L/100 km). That’s combined highway & city with mainly daytime driving with temperature outside in excess of 30 degrees C (86 F). At my last fill I travelled 958 km (595 miles) with half highway and half city. I used 43.15 L (9.49 US gallons). The tank size is 50 L (11 US Gal). When I travel only on the highway, I get better economy, around 4.1 L/100km (~57.37mgp US) with air conditioning on. In Winter without air conditioning I get 3.9 L /100km (60.3 mpg US). I've also had better economy in certain situations that favor regenerative breaking, such as heavy highway traffic that is constantly slowing and gently speeding up without completely stopping. Toyota Nickel Metal Hydride hybrid batteries are getting around 190,000 miles (300,000km) before they are replaced and the battery is recycled. My neighbor's 2012 Camry hybrid has done 314,000 miles total, with 124,000 miles since battery replacement. He drives 1,800 miles a week in his job. Typical lifetime of such cars is high, so that's a greatly reduced footprint over the lifetime of the car compared to a conventional ICE. Recycling of the battery components makes it even more efficient.
I really hope those consumption numbers are true... Because, Corrola Hybrid or Camry Le (with the litium battery pack ) can acheive them easily & not the nickel metal battery edition Camry.
I learned more from reading your comment than watching so many reviews that seem more concerned with “soft touch” materials used in the interiors than actual fuel mileage. Thank you!
@@kaloyan2778 I know I range 200 miles on half tank on 2020 Camry hybrid SE, but it’s around 458 miles on full tank but if you don’t use heat or ac and just run fan, I would say you could hit 465 miles
"aggressive grill" " athletic look" yeah ok buddy. I have the 2020 hybrid LE modelo and not once did i thought about getting the XLE model for some " sporty exhaust tips"
Personally, I think the design looks dated. I think the new Sonata and up incoming 2021 Optima look way better outside and inside and their hybrid version is more efficient.
This reviewer is easily pleased and doesn't seem interested in details that truly matter. 2 examples: the touchscreen has serious lag time and the 360° camera resolution is garbage, yet he seems fine with both. Low standards, but what can you expect from a press car reviewer. He doesn't want to rock the boat so he dishes up a happy face review regardless whether its warranted. At least Doug Demuro tells it like it is.
Holy moly! Sounds like you never owned a Toyota car ever. Toyotas are solid cars. They don't breakdown easily. They are more reliable than its competitors. Next time, keep your opinion to yourself.

David Hardwick Thank You for this information. I have a 16 XLE Hybrid that I am looking to upgrade.

I bought my 2020 camry 2 weeks ago, have 500 miles on the first tank of gas... 1/2 tank full. Super comfortable.
how many galons is a full tank?

Camry is a very good family car, Hybrid is great especially you when you drive a lot.
Toyota has perfect the hybrid formulae. Superb platform, fine vehicle.
I want a Camry hybrid now
Nice camera
I don't mind it...

YIKES! Looking in that engine compartment, all I could think was. "That's a lot of pieces that can break down. And I would not want to work on it"

@@AwesomeJoe007 Wrong. I own a 12 year old Camery. But it is elegantly simple. And reliable. But hybrids are far too complex.

Toyota hybrids are just as if not more reliable than their gas only versions
I really don’t like that grill
Commenting on fuel economy when you didn’t actually refill the tank and check the computer claim is lazy and dumb

Yeah, what else would you call it?
My Passat TDI did 740 miles on one single tank. The Camry is a very unattractive looking battery car.
