But that aside, has anyone ever been more technically proficient? I don’t mean that as a sensationalist. Like, I just don’t imagine it’s possible to have much more skill. It’s just unreal how easy he makes *everything* look.

I'm a brand new subscriber to this channel. I just stumbled upon one of his Slipknot covers tonight. I have not been able to stop watching his covers since. I'm a music lover and a very basic drummer. What I see this man can do is simply inhuman! I mean to hit like on his videos but I'm hypnotized by the end and I find the very next cover. This song always reminds me of my youth, it came out around the time when I turned 21 and was hitting the bars/clubs. Constant tang hunt every weekend. What a great time to be young and single. The trim was widely available and willing and was everywhere. Damn.
Not a drummer myself...but wow...that stick control. It looked like your hands were completely relaxed to allow the sticks to bounce but at the same time they were hitting hard under complete control.
I watch a lot of videos at double speed to get through them quicker. Whenever I watch El Estepario I have to double check and make sure I have the speed set to normal. Unbelievable! Great!!
