If you watch enough of his videos he will say that he doesn't care about music at all. He cares about drumming and the technical aspect of it and that's it. He has zero interest in playing in a band, or making music of any kind - but after watching this particular video, I'm not entirely sure if he just doesn't "know" it or he doesn't believe it, but this dude is MUSICALLY gifted just as much as he is gifted with his technical skill set. The nuance and "intent" on display here is like nothing I've ever seen in drumming and I've been drumming a long, long time. The subtleties in his snare work that lead to perfectly precise and perfectly executed fills that "lift" the music, not hide it, is the work of a musical genius. This guy is absolutely fucking astonishing. When Slipknot themselves asks you to cover one of their most difficult songs with one hand, you're not just great, you're a league above.

As a drummer myself, I've often noticed that the better the drummer is, the smaller the kit they actually use. There's a big difference between playing fast, and playing a rhythm that becomes music in itself.
