What I love about this guy, is not only is he just ridiculously good, one of the best drummers I’ve ever seen in fact, it’s the fact that he plays everything with this big smile on his face. An absolute master at work

This right here might be one of the finest drumming performances ever videoed in history. It is unreal how perfect the timing on everything is. The multi cymbal rolls are astonishingly perfectly timed and executed as is everything else. Bravo.

Nailed it. The fact that you can still hear seperation of the notes on the blazing fast stuff is next level. I hear a lot of drummers play the same fills and it usually gets mushy and dirty sounding... dude should have the nickname Mr. Clean

What an absolutely fantastic rendition of one of the true Trance classics... mesmerising and moving to this day.
I also really like how El Estapario does all this with often very simple drum set ups, and often what sounds quite a monotonal approach and yet, the energy and the complexities of timing and rhythm... incredible.
Brother, "Trance classics" doesn't even begin to explain the joy I remember the crowd experiencing when the DJ would finally move this tune into the mix. People lost their GD minds every single time it came on. And if they played Sasha's Xpander during the same night? Whew! So many amazing memories of when club music really was at its peak...

As a long time bongo player banging on two skins is all I can handle but this guy with absolute fantastic rhythm is by far the best drummer I have ever seen and, of course, enjoying what you are doing makes it even better. 😊
For real, I have watched this video 10 times and I still can't grasp how you have managed to perfectly keep such different tempos with each arm. Incredible performance.

He was in Saratoga. He quite after his initial contract was up, to focus solely on doing this. He’s definitely more famous now, than even before. It seems that the entire world now says he is the world’s best!

I don't know about "heaps" though - maybe the super-drummers could play it, but not a lot more people than this. Anyway, why are we arguing? PS; Yamaha is better . :)

Yeah out of 8 billion souls here on Earth there could be 2 maybe 3 others, 5 at most I'd bet... that's not a huge heap but all of them stacked up would be at least a mound. Or maybe if larger than a mound but not quite a heap, they would be a mess of drummers, not a whole mess but a mess none the less.
The sheer emotion and feel of this particular performance actually brought tears to my eyes. Huge fan of everything you do but…this took my fucking breath away. So special on every level.

This guy! The magnitude of what he’s doing is incredible. I’m enjoying the review and comments from those of you that are either artists yourselves are at least respectful of the craft. Apparently he’s quite the outlier. I love the fact that he doesn’t have any attitude about his skill either - it speaks for itself.
I don't know the 1st way to approach playing drums or any instrument at all but can understand the dedication to get to this level. Been skateboarding for over 40 years and intuitively know passion and dedication when I see and feel it. Your passion is amazing, keeping ripping bro!

Absolutely ferocious drumming ability! 2min18 onward is just beyond crazy and the attack and timing is just mind blowing. I notice this song is already making a resurgence in the radio stations these days and im pretty sure its thanks to this performance! UN-BE-BELIEVABLE drumming!!
