You got mad bomb jump skills and the whole run is so impressive. I guess you discovered all the sequence breaks on your own too. Thanks for a great video
Btw, i've always wanted to see a remake that actually recreates the motherbrain fight. So stoked to see this. It reminds me of the metroid queen fight, how you get pushed over to the right progressively through each phase of the fight. Gives a real sense of cohesion between the different games.
The game's called Metroid Planets, it's a remake of Metroid 1 and has Metroid Novus and a proceedurally generated Metroid game type too, alongside an item randomizer.
I wonder how they did the music. Did these audio tracks already exist, or did they use midis of super metroid and redo the sounds? The music sounds like it was produced by nintendo
will this run on an actual NES? It looks like much more than the NES could handle with all the animated backgrounds and extra character animation frames.
Don't need an emulator -- it's a standalone .exe file. You should be able to download it from the Metroid Construction page or the official Discord: discord.gg/Ayp92UJ
when you make a game related video on youtube, it's a good idea to put the name of the system it's on. for example, since apparently nobody has heard of this game, you could have simply put "Novus (fangame) Speedrun" or something.
I've never heard of this game. It's so blursed, I love it
@Shadowforce10 nah its a fan game
A youtuber by the name of phantom bane talked about it
What’s blursed
neither has anybody else
@@mylegsasleep1934blessed and cursed at the same time
This is amazing, Metroid and Super Metroid combined

Omg! That 8bit Ridley!
That looks amazing and totally insane with those Remake Bosses

WHO MADE THIS, THIS IS SO SMOOTH

Very cool gameplay.
Dude, that animation!!!
I plan to start running this game so I am about to watch this video a lot
Just played for the first time, this is awesome

they are custom compositions made by loeder (snes/gba remixes) and minimacro sound (nes remixes)

Its a exe file, not a rom hack
@@breadofish Thats a bummer, I would buy an Everdrive just to play this on my NES.
Can you do more runs!? I do believe a sub 27 is doable! I noticed if Mother Brain 2 is done right, only 2 e-tanks are required.
25:09 This part be like: ⚡️🎹🔥
I love this game but I hate how the secret levels have no way of telling you if there's an opening !!!
Exactly how I remember it from the 8os.jk

Up..let! Nnń
It’s pretty much just a nes version of super Metroid
... No?
The Hack is Boring to me. But that is just me.
not just you at all. it's a mediocre fangame
