Just watched Chris' old video in his small old apartment with the kitchen in the room itself. He sure has grown a lot as a person and a channel both. The new studio looks so good.
Yet I'm 32 and his very first Japanese apartment looks better than my current place lmao, and he was only like 21 or so at the time. Chris got it good.
I watch 20 minutes, then I leave. I come back to this video and watch another 20 minutes and leave to do something else again. This is an ongoing cycle and seeing how this video is 3 hours long I have a long way to go. Enjoying the video Chris!
I love that Chris's "talking Japanese" voice is an anime old man. I remember when I was learning, I was warned to be careful that I don't start talking "too feminine" because the teacher was a woman, so clearly Chris's teacher was Ero-sennin from Naruto.
I think Chris looks good in this video. Also, my parents live about 20 minutes from Zion National Park in Utah. So I have been loads of times. Walking in "the narrows" trail is awesome!

Asahi reminds me of Tennants (if you come to Scotland avoid it, ugh!). Speaking of alcohol though you should bring Natsuki to Scotland do a tour round some of the distilleries, microbreweries etc! BTW I hated my 20s, liking my 30s so far, but maybe that's only because I'm antisocial with a fear of flying and most of my 30s have been during the pandemic!
