Toys were great back in the day & packaging really captured my imagination. These days it seems the imagination has been captured in the digital realm.
I bloody love this show!!! I loved toys as a kid as we all did, could never afford em really, mum and dad did thier best but I was always concerned about money and always said no to being bought them etc... I'm now 31 and still a lover of toys and collectibles, my collection is growing every month from vintage to re-released figures, star wars, pop funk, transformers, marvel, McFarlane toys, reaction, love collecting and love this show! Greats guys with passion and huge energy that makes me excited to see everything in the shop and out on your, would love to travel to the store I'm Preston based but I'll get there this year if it kills me, all the best gentleman and can't wait for more content!
Brilliant video guys!!!! The shop is looking amazing....with incredible stuff. Everytime I go in its a pleasure. And all you guys are awesome! The shop has a special place in my heart!!!!! Love it👀👀👀🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😉👍
When I was a kid in the 80's action man was a hand me down toy that me and my mates got from older siblings and cousins! My era was Star Wars, He-Man, Mask, Transformers, Lego Space etc.
You guys have an amazing shop there,I'm seriously impressed by the superb range of stock, really enjoyed this. Being born in 63 the toys available when I was a kid were pretty limited, although I do remember having some kick ass captain scarlet stuff favorite being a 9-10 inch die cast spectrum vehicle, the planes were plastic but still cool ,plus I had a good few action figs and a really cool hat with a pull down microphone that actually spoke a few phrases, really good stuff for late 60s,lol,thanks for stirring this old dudes memories guys,ATB !
Those little Modular Micro Machine Play Sets were great! I had a few of those back in the day! I don't think I've ever seen someone with a large collection of Micromachines on your tours? I bet they are great fun to collect!
I always thought they were called 'shelf barkers' after the fairground hucksters! And you can't go wrong with Bender 'Bending' Rodriguez! Good video, guys.👍😁
What a nice inventory of toys. The carded Saga of Crystar figures are really cooI! I actually picked up a complete Moltar and Warbow at the Chicago toy show this past weekend! 👍✨
There's some real magic in that space. Hold dear the hour I had in there with you guys - and the hot chocolate! Great edit, superb stock, exemplary hosts. Bravo.
I love these shop videos, i would love to visit, but man, it's a bit away from the NL, i mena, i don't have to tell you what kind of trip that is! That WWF ice hockey game, the way Joe sold it, as in the wrestlers were so in to ice hockey, i was going, were they, maybe they were XD while he was beeing sarcastic as all heck :P.. i never seen any of them ice scating, or playing hockey, hilarious.
I take it there was a Jaws Figure for that line? I had one of those rubber Great White Sharks that every 80's kid played with in the bath! Do any of them ever turn up? 😂
I got loads of toys with guns growing up, I'm now a violent deviant, that's how it works would be parents.😆Even I'm not immune to vintage SW appeal, just got a 12" C-3PO and I love it.😉 Crystar are quite cool, got one loose figure, I'm not big on clear plastic but the whole lore theme ties it altogether nicely. Actually quite generous with the accessories, bet those are hard to find loose. Saw some MOTU knockoffs while attending my first toy fair, I admit some of them have some appeal, yeah adding an animal head is an easy design but it looks cool. Someone saying Remco is rubbish, I'll slap them lol?😤 I love Jaws and I'm not even an old fan, I think I saw it the first time in 2010 iirc. 🤔Been trying to work some Neca Jaws figures purchases into my budget. Some ReAction are a little too rubbish looking Eg. The Terminator, but those Jaws ones are nice Ie. simplified details rather than poor sculpting. Galoob is definitely a brand I miss, looking back I loved a great deal of toys they made, and such a distinct name to hear in commercials. Mini-playsets of all kinds are a great option because the cost and space for even 3 3/4" can get quite large. Dipped my toe into MASK recently, got a cheap truck locally so I'm on my way heh. I'm quite liking figures in that scale range, got a Remco Frankenstein and a Mattel Perseus, that 3" figure scale has some neat toy options.😎 Taking a big pass on new Hasbro Indy, the quality is bad and they're doing some very shady things lately even by corporate standards. 🤮 Love the old store-bought costumes but so fragile even when they were new, last about a week at most heh. Was looking at some retro style masks last October and they make them a lot thicker now albeit higher priced. Ah the 70s, everything was just bursting into flames before they started adding retardant. And just like your favorite character, with a picture of themselves on their chests.😄
Yep, like the stereotype that if you watched 18 movies or games before the correct age you would turn into a violent deranged person. Despite what many will tell you it was very common to watch or play these things waaaaay before you reached that age in the 80's / 90's.
What is the name of the little red/pink rubber monster at around 7:43? I remember winning one in an arcade in the early nineties, I always wondered what he was?
@@leicestervintagetoyshop I couldn't help myself, had to do some light googling....Super Dino Monsters, Ultraman bootlegs...I think I need to buy some rubber monsters now!
Oh I had that Jaws model. Thank you for reminding me. Been looking for the Worzel too 👍🏻

A very underrated toyline Britains space and it’s comparatively cheap as well!

They must’ve made the jaws brody figure before the family decided to pull his likeness rights for toys
Great Channel 👍
Do you have Tonka Toys ❤
Thanks Colin, not currently although we do get them in fairly often we tend to send them to auction unless they are mint and boxed.
