Fanastic work on all of your videos, but am particularly enjoying the story of Action Man. You do a great job and clearly care about creating a quality viewing experience - as far as I'm concerned you and Toy Paloi own the UK vintage toy channel market. Thanks again - hope you continue your hard work and I'm confident you'll continue to grow as a channel :)

As I'm watching I'm reflecting back on just how my Mum had to scrimp and save to afford these Xmas presents for me. I so regret that I did not appreciate it at that age. Hard times for her but she still found a way to make her son's dreams come true. All of us getting these amazing toys were very lucky indeed.

I was stationed in Great Britain at RAF Upper Heyford in the late 80's. Our security police had recently been issued the first generation Hummers which had replaced the venerable Jeep. They were such JUNK that I remember once overhearing an SP offer to trade 2 new Hummers for one old Land Rover the British military police drove. Great show!

    I am LOVING THIS!
Fun story... when I was much younger, I didn't know of "Action Man"... growing up in the US, I knew GIjOE... and I wanted a Scottish figure, just like my grandfather... so I took my Feileadh Mòr (Great Kilt) and cut a swath off of it, and made a kilt for one of my Joes.
I just ran across it a few days ago in the storage area of my studio. I should dress "Destro" in it... it is a Black Watch tartan, after all...

My golden age for Action Man was way before this. 1966 to 1970 was it for me. The fuzzy hair and gripping hands were gimmicks I never experienced. Getting my first Action Man in his box with the basic uniform and plastic cap was one of my most exciting times! That and getting a Corgi James Bond Aston Martin.

great series, I'm sorry it has taken this long to have found it. I used to have all of the ceremonials (including a mostly intact Hussar) that I had gotten a doll show from a vendor that had purchased a number of Action Men at boot sales in Great Britain. I loved those guys, so interesting and colorful. Unfortunately I lost most of them along with all of the Hall books in a fire a few years ago and was only able to recover one from the wreckage, the first one I'd bought, the Argyle Highlander (who had an artillery pouch as a sporran and a nifty soft bonnet instead of the official headgear) minus his head. Gotta replace that one of these days. Great work!

On the Action Man team, were these Hasbro creations, or Palitoy's? And it's remarkable that one in the camo looks like Stalker! I'm loving this series! I never had a GI-Joe in this scale, but I did have a Steve Austin, the 6 million dollar man!!

Wow! I really like these, I grew up while the original GI Joe was ending, so I didn't know AM was a cousin of GI Joe. Did AM have more vehicles, sets and accessories than GI Joe?
It's a shame these scaled figures can't be replicated like the 1970s MEGO ST figures were.
I can only imagine how much the Escape from Colditz figures are.
Was the Scorpion the AM equivalent of Hasbro's USS Flagg?
