I never know where to start with comic reading. Especially with Green Lantern. It's soooo expansive. I got the last three that Geoff Johns wrote (the "Sinestro" story arc, with the epilogue at the end) because I saw a DC Villain special and it talked about this particular arc and about that iconic moment where Hal Jordan asks Sinestro if they were ever friends, and Sinestro replies with "That's the tragedy of all this, Jordan. Hal...we'll always be friends." It just gave me so many chills that I had to find the comics with that arc.But of course, when I started reading it, there was clearly so much that I had missed, and I didn't know where to start when it came to comics that preceded that arc...

Renegade Hal is hands down the dopest variant of Hal by far. His story in becoming will incarnate was the dopest story I've ever read. Also, please reread St walkers story.. that's why. He's a badass. He had hope when all else was lost. He is the hope at the bottom of the pandoras box that is the dcu. I also started reading green lantern back during the Kyle days of green lantern 3000. Great run!

Um Hal Jordan I'd say is better and his suit in this rebirth looks awesome... But Sinestro just looks sick man that yellow suit looks cool. I'm not a fan of that caped suit except for the glowing chest core but his original suit the one with the three triangles and the sort Sinestro corps badge or crest banded around his arms looks so awesome. Green vs Yellow looks awesome.
If a Truly Great Man makes great men greater, then with everything Sinestro did; Green Lantern or not, he in turn made the Crops only better than what they would ever hope to be. I find that the Green Lantern stories are great on their own, but when it comes to ensembles, they seem... weak? The easiest examples would be in the animated movies for example (don't jump down my throat, it's just an example, I know the movies don't necessarily reflect the comics that well)... Hal Jordan tends to be shown as 'weaker' then almost everyone save Shazam. Even batman seems more usefull then him (that's because of the Batman bias, I get it, but Hal Jordan tends to look like an immature jokster at best instead of a universal weapon).
You're not wrong at all there. Hal is underused in that Universe for some reason. Although it is Darkseid that beat his ass it seems a bit silly to make him seem stupid when he isn't. I like the comic version of him much better
Thanks for making such a fantastic video. I always wanted to get into comics but the paywall, and time it takes to catch up is crazy. Then I find you on the TH-cam and it solves my problem. Your charisma and enthusiasm makes it very enjoyable. My only complaint is that during these long complilation is the Ads dotted throughout. I do not know exactly why there are so many, but the frequency is disturbing the continuity of the story. I dont mind a few ads in such a long video, but the ammount is ruining my experience. The timing of some of these ads completely deflates some of the suspense. Like when you where discussing Superman Paralax vs Hal Jordan in the middle of the mind fight an add popped up and my investment in the story was diminished. Keep making great content, just try to see why there are so many adds in the middle of a video. Tbh I have stopped watching content creators and searched for an alternative for this reason. Please stop putting ads in the middle of videos.

John Stewart is my favorite green lantern. Has been since I first saw him as a kid in Justice League Unlimited.
I have a soft spot for characters who represent hope, so Saint Walker and the Blue Lanterns top the list, along with Barry Allen and Superman.
Out of all the races in the Green Lantern Corps, are there any with as many Lanterns as Humans? 6 human Lanterns seems a bit over the top.
