I don’t know… I honestly kinda hated the HL:A ending, and it has me extremely worried for any potential HL3 that we may get. One thing I absolutely _hate_ in all of fiction with every fiber of my being is Time Travel. It’s messy, overly convoluted, and paradoxical to an extent that it destroys any sense of meaningful continuity. The fact that they decided to use it to retcon Eli Vance’s death really pissed me off more than anything else, and I can only hope that maybe I missed something or it’s not all what it seems to be. Otherwise, they should’ve kept the storyline they established and ran with it rather than cop out.
@Colpus I dunno… I guess I’m hoping that this is less of a Time Travel situation and more of an actual prequel, and that Alyx encountered the G-Man long before HL2. Who knows, though? It’s hard to say because that would contradict some of the things that were already established by HL2.
