I'm currently desperately trynna finish the ACOTAR series (almost done with the third book) so I can pick up HOFAS as soon as possible, I'm not gonna be able to pick it up as soon as I get it but I'm still so hyped!!

Awww I hope your heating gets sorted out soon! In the meantime (and just generally) I thought I'd share one of my personal favourite parts of reading on a kindle- the warmth.....
What I mean by this is that if you read on a kindle, you can huddle in bed on your side under blankets, and the only part of you that needs to leave that warmth is a single finger :)
I also 100% agree with the Goodreads challenge reading stress- although it's technically a fun challenge to motivate you to read more, for me I have to set the goal lower than what I think I can manage to make sure I don't fall behind and start getting "you are X books behind your reading goal" notifications. For me they can be a bit triggering and take some of the joy out of reading if I think about them too much, especially if I've just been busy with studying/work or if I've been reading an abnormally long series (this was the case in 2022 when I read the Malazan book of the fallen series where each book averages around 1000 pages and there are 10 of them...)
Anyways, I loved the video as always and am looking forward to your next vlog.. and of course the new SJM book tomorrow!! Finally!!

I always tell huffy that I need to get one of those kindle holders to attach onto the bed and the page turn clicker so I can fully just bundle up lol 😂

I thought I’d really miss holding a real book and flipping the pages, and I still love reading physical books. but it is really nice being able to hold this smaller, lighter device and only needing one hand to read as well!
