My addiction stemmed from when I was in my teens I was struggling with depression even though I was always around people and was always laughing there was a long history with alcohol abuse and seeing so many around me using I started with cocaine alcohol and pills, unfortunately after nearly 9 years of using while I was high I would sit and write and I loved that I could focus my thoughts when I could escape feeling but there's been so many times to get there and gone back but always found people that I could relate to and tried helping them too but didn't realize how much of me was disappearing my mom tried killing herself by taking to many of her meds I found her in the floor and forced her to throw up, she made it but now she's dealing with sclerosis, that moment when I was 25-27 made me quit using pills.but sobered up for close to 11yrs but found myself back I would be happy to share my story with you and how through listening to music and writing helped me to start getting away from the life.
