Previously owned this car.... It was a work in progress, started on the interior and was making my way outside...the color is from a 1971 Monte Carlo, painted by the previous owner who had it for 24 yrs. All body panels are original, all interior was done new, seats were upholstered, door panels, rug and dash, breaks all the way around are new, shocks, power steering, gauges... sold it to buy a camper.
You have to be a special type of individual to have gold paint, green interior & red accents in the engine bay. 😂 I can’t wrap my head around their color scheme concept.
@@louislepage5111$31,900 + $10k -$20k for rust repair, bodywork & paint. You’ll be in this Chevelle close to $50k. You might as well buy one all the way done at that point.
@@louislepage5111 It’s not hating, when it’s facts. $31,900 + $15 - $20k for rust repair, body work & paint. You’ll be in that Chevelle around $50k. You can buy one complete for that price with no work needed.
Do keep zooming in, I like to see if work needed is within my level of capability! I like your honest presentation of these rides. I have never found a "perfect" one, and don't expect it with 50+ year old drivers. Regardless, they still look better than most 50+ year olds walking around .👍👍
Last year of my favorite Chevelles.....Had a yellow/black '72 back in the '80s...but I'll repeat what others have said... Gold exterior and GREEN interior???...not a factory combo and a hard sell.. Inside looks OK and clean, but one question... WHY IS IT when people restore/rebuild or replace these motors, in cars that ORIGINALLY CAME WITH A/C that they DON'T PUT IT BACK IN!!! A classic Muscle car WITH A/C is DEFINITELY COOL (Pun Intended)!!!
Nice job pointing all the flaws out. For you rust comment guys come buy a classic in pa and get underneath it and you will see rust in the rust belt. Keep up the videos.
Needs fenders doors quarter panels and a roof skin alot of work and money when done it wouldn't be worth what you put into it bonus has a flywheel cover

@@reversemaxxus great points!
Thanks! We try to give as much info as possible 👍
Grandmas Malibu has a crazy color combo…
That was a very poor repaint, needs alot of body work to fix the rust. I'd give only 15,000.
Then go offer 15k. Also make sure to tell us how the ride back without the Chevelle was
@@ChevyChev-fj5sr🤣🤣🤣🤣
I swear, he reminds me of my daughter's father when she was little.
I wonder if he likes driving these old cars?!
😊
Very nice Chevelle the oil pan is leaking transmission pan is leaking
That is a lot of money for a car with that much rust on it
Apparently, people buy them that way for some reason??
Where is that smoke coming from at 6:32? Something dripping on the exhaust?
Looks like it's got a lot of rust not for me at that price
Finally got rid of the Nova with this color combo, now you got this one lol
That is an absolute atrocious color combo!!!
Great car if you’re a packers fan
Or an Oakland A's fan
I dream about 1989 prices.
With all due respect, that's a lot of rust for the price---I'd consider a substantial price drop, given the condition

I love that ride.❤
How expensive is it to fix a car with this kind of rust?
@@Rolando510Mota $15-$20k easy, if not more. That’s rust repair, body work / welding & paint.
Good looking Chevelle.
Man to fix all that rust it would cost about 7k.
Yeah!
Let me take a ride!
Haha.
Looks like they customized it a little.
I would trade a 2013 Camaro for the gold 72 Chevrolet Chevelle
I had a 402, it was ok.had cowl induction.
A 402 and a 400 are two totally different engines .
Nick add a place your bet if it has a flywheel cover what do you think
Color is Placer Gold. I have a 72 placer gold black vinyl top black int
I had an SS in that color combo with black stripes as my first car. Sorry I sold it.

Green interior ugh pretty sure that car didn’t come that color probably was green on green I would have changed it to black
Someone sure wasted a lot of money on that thing only thing after 69 is the 454 ss I would own more of a 68-69 guy
It's a John Deere Chevelle.
Do y’all trade I got 2019 ram 1500larmaie
Interesting color. Is that Butterscotch?
