I think the reason people are fine with wizzy playing passive is because it’s really the only way to effectively combat puff, and it’s satisfying to see a puff player beat at their own game. Though I agree, hbox will get hate no matter the situation.

I love the wobbles commentary. Perfectly breaks down tiny interactions that the regular viewer would not see. I find myself pausing and going back to see the little adaptations and interactions that make this game special.
Wobbles and Scar are super engaged commentators. Being able to see insane options in sets like these coupled with a solid breakdown of what just happened makes for a good tool for players to get better.
Then you have the casuals who say this commentary is trash or hate it, and there were quite a few of them being annoying about it lmao. I loved it, I have very rarely hated any commentary. D:

Honestly Him being trained by M2k probably helped with that mindset. It's how M2k has beaten armada and other top players. m2k has never been afraid to time someone out/camp ledge and play safe when he needs to. That is he was in the mood that day to play patient. If his opponent could frazzle him they could get the win. Like m2k knows the IC match up but if nintendude or Chudat could get in his head it could become bad.

DnaluarK I think it also has to do with the fact that wizzy moved from a smash game where one mistake is your stock to melee so he used to that hbox playstyle of exploiting minor mistakes and capitalizing

@@sauce8277 He meant 64. Wizzy has been able to really make dents into literally every smash game with competitive relevance as of right now. Smash 64 is like a squishier version of Melee, so when SgtCrazyEyes says that one mistake is your stock, he really means it.
Honestly, this particular matchup should be right up his alley, since Puff vs. Falcon is a game of playing neutral until one player gets the right hit and the other player dies.

I'm a huge Hbox fan, I think Juan's a good guy and I think his playstyle is way smarter than people give him credit for, but even I'm stoked to see Wizzy win this set.
It's not braindead by any means, But God is it boring. Also from what I've seen and heard hbox can be a bit crabby sometimes.

You don't seem to understand that outcamping Hbox is the only way to consistently beat Hbox, whose own style calls for the outcamp strat. Mango's rushdown style can work once in a while, even Leffen's and Plup's more balanced style only works less than half of the time. Wizzy, Armada, and Zain have shown what works more consistently.
