i recently started playing a lil diablo again and i actually was just googling "d2 loot farming" videos to fall asleep too and none of them are long or well made. So this is straight up perfect content. Oh btw I love all your d2 content, not just the loot vids. I watch your vids more than I actually play the game lmao

Started watching this last night while just getting into ladder s8 post-game. Pulled the ist AND ohm runes needed for my self found CTA this morning in the Tower and terrorized far oasis respectively. Rolled 6.3.3. ... not bad for baby's first self roll!

That’s my biggest d2 fear! I’ve been told that there are mods for d2r that just add those light beams for uniques and runes. I want to keep it mostly vanilla since I make videos, but it would be nice to have that!
Hey, thanks! All LK runs were done on players 7, and terror zones on players 1. I tried players 3 for a short while when I switched to the assassin in the TZ video to try and level faster, but soon went back to p1 for speed
Hello good sir! First of all congratz on the amazing content. I've been bingewatching ur channel for a couple of days now. Hahaha I do have one small criticism on the sorc part of the video (watched and read comments on the original, couldn't find mention of this): The results are the same, in general, for the dininishing returns. But not as steep. A real comparison would have to take into account Failed Uniques and Failed Sets. Example: you kill a lv86 monster. Drops Archon Staff. Game checks "is it Unique? = yes". But a lv 86 monster can't drop Mang Song's.... what happens in these cases is: the game generates a RARE Archon Staff (same base) with double durability. Same goes for set items. So... TL;DR, the number of Failed Uniques/sets is directly affected by MF. Although it doesn't change the end result of the drop trend. Cheers!

Though I think it would even out and not impact the comparative results (like you said it doesn’t change the trend) but with this relatively small sample size it could have an impact if one set of runs got particularly unlucky with failed rolls.
@@zarfen nobody ever considers it hahaha As a Grailer, I tend to check rare Sacred Armors in order to properly torture myself just a little bit more than usual. To be fair, I think most people don't even know this mechanic even exists. Feel free to make a video on it or highliting any particularly unlucky fail. Especially with your editing style, hearing sorc's "ughhh" looking at a failed Sacred Armor is something I could most definitely relate to. hahahahaha Should you care for an easy showcase, farming Normal Blood Moor on p8 should result in quick fails, since most uniques would be level-gated at that point. Did they change the way negative resistance interacts with traps? Many years ago before d2r negative resistance on gear didn’t actually factor into your traps damage due to how they shoot off themselves. Just curious! Plus damage does work though
what would be a top 3 builds MF D2r in your opinion and what would be the order? and TZ is more efficient to complete the HolyGrail or just to get more XP on the way to lvl99
How about a challenge, complete the game for any of the characters according to the following rules: 1) do not upgrade the skills of the characters (only at the expense of gear). 2) do not increase the characteristics of the character (only at the expense of gear). My record is to come to visit Mephisto and die. The finale of the second act is 100% achievable. But I also had a third rule: 3) A mortal character is one death and everything from the very beginning.
If you don't mind prebuffing that enchant ormus would be really good for an demon machine sorc, especially if you want to spend a socket quest and fire facet on it
Just found my first ever ber rune during a lk run, out of a simple chest. I also found a jah rune 20 years ago, meaning i legitimately have found an Enigma
"I found all of this in just over 500 runs" @ 3:41 made me already sick! I just dont know why I should grind in D2/D2R whilst it has no lategame. After killing Baal in Hell back in 2003 with my Amazon Titans Revenge + Lifeleach/Poison build I was done with the game but I really like your videos and content!

It’s called Que-Hegan’s Wisdom and I didn’t think it was worth picking up when doing the video but it’s actually a pretty good caster armor with +1 skills, 20% FCR and some other minor but useful stats
Somehow, I've managed to find 3 Ber runes within the past 2ish years. I'm pretty sure the highest rune I ever found in OG Diablo 2 was a single Ohm rune.
I actually had to turn this OFF because i was focusing on it too hard and needed to finish my schoolwork. I can now resume it after finally finishing it all.
Pretty cool and should last for a while if you are a ranged character. Though I guess nova sorc might have some issues with teleporting into middle of packs, and javazon likes to run up close to elites for charged strike

They are important because it breaks immunity on monsters. So a cold immune monster is no longer cold immune. Before this was impossible with the exception of auras like conviction.
Please donate your brain to science after your exitus. You must have or lack something very important to be able to grind at this level (so often). I would be bored to death after 100 runs. But your videos are well narrated, keep it up ^^.

Personally I enjoy the grind for gear in itself, but it’s understandably not for everyone!

How can -70 resist be better than -90 resist? Genuinely curious how to read those numbers, nectar it seems backwards to me...
The negative resist applies to you, not enemies, so a lower number means less penalty to your character
