I hope this works. Mine just suddenly stopped working, but idk if a background update happened i didn't know about. Did the xbox accessory app update, worked but then when i booted the game, it froze up with the error notification that usb couldn't be recognized. 🤞🏽
@EASTBAYGaming1 I'm thinking my controller just suddenly stopped working during a 10 min break. Plugged a generic pc controller and it works (not fun playing with lol). So probably just dead hardware. I never had to adjust any settings with my Xbox one as it was plug n play so I guess it's time to get a new one. I dont think it had anything to do with steam or rdr2. Appreciate the vid tho!

This sounds like it could be a different issue? When you go to the controller test you should see the numbers at the bottom move when you press any button or move thumb sticks.

How do I get back to recommended controller layout, I touched the layouts and now it's gone and I can't revert it back. Pls help Edit: i dont have a "recommended layout" tab. So please don't recommend that since i don't see one

What do you mean "for the overlay"? Like on the screen you don't see the triangle, square,circle, etc.
