"A Class flooded with strong Servants" Like I keep saying, if you actually wanna win a Grail War, have an Archer. At worst you'll have a renowned warrior with some of the best strategic advantages (Arash's MAD). At best you'll summon people who can win the War overnight (Gil, Emiya, Arjuna)
Like I said, he's good for Mutually Assured Destruction. Any Master with half a brain (which means, anyone smarter than Shinji) will recognize that if Arash and his Master are backed into a corner, they can end up in a situation where they will definitely die with them (along with like a quarter of the city)
Except that there are plenty of people who wouldn't know or care, as we've already seen in Apocrypha, plus other masters/servants in the franchise who would find a way around it or be unfazed- Caster Gil or even Rider Iskander could use their summons/minions to force him to unleash his NP first. Stella is an Anti-Army B++ NP (bumped to A in FGO lore), with considerable range, but has a lower limit to how many enemies it can take out. Lore-wise, it's strictly weaker than Excalibur. MAD only works if you can be sure that you take our enemy out with you.
Rank of NP represents the scale of mystery rather than strength. In chapter 6, Stella eliminated the light of panishment from Rhongomyniad which was 3000 times stronger than highest lank NPs. Arash can completely destroy a small city. I don't think he willingly do it, though. (Not English. Grammer mistakes.)

As part of Fate Lore, the Fuyuki system doesn't allow for non-western spirits to be summoned, as the "Grail" is based on a western, Christian based artifact. It's one of several reasons why Sasaki Kojiro was considered an anomaly and "Fake" assassin. I think it was only because of Angra Mainyu's corruption that it became possible. Otherwise, you'd probably have better luck summoning Nobu (Shingen/Kenshin for me) up on the moon. And hey, don't dis on the poor Lancers; he's every bit of strong in his own legends. He's just got crappy luck (like most lancers >.
Actually i would be fine with one of theese 3 servants in a holy grail war: Tamamo, Vlad (i am from Transilvania :3) or Jack the Ripper I wanted Jeanne most but Rulers are a no go for a normal grail war q.q
Nobunaga. Honestly, when i finally got her, i had Emiya and Atalanta. After using her a while, she's really much better at dishing out damage than Emiya could. Atalanta was there for the crit stars; but all three together, they can wipe the floor on any Saber / Berserker Waves. Honestly, i've used Nobunaga a lot on various content, challenge quests, clearing quests, farming quests and she excels in one thing, being a fucking leader with that Stategy B, and then dishing out damage with her buster crits. She's extremely good because she's reused in other events as "Event Bonus" Servant, and sometimes she even overpowers Gilgamesh. I've got a grailed Nobu to 90 to back that up~ Her Noble Phantasm is just extremely good, and because its NP5 at start (if you farmed for her) then she makes her NP as good as a NP1 Gilgamesh. That bonus damage to things with riding is funny as hell though, since a LOT of targets will have Riding. ;D

I saved up plenty of Archer embers and QP. Nobu is getting grailed to LV90 and Im using all the matrials in the event to upgrade her skills. This is Nobunaga we're talkin about.
bonus against divinity is really powerful since almost all the huge bosses coming up have it, roshomon, onigashima, all the pillars, goddess rhongomyniad, almost all chapter 7 bosses, tiamat, solomon, goetia, and many more. thats why before 1.5 with no multiple health bar, scathach is so good at nuking them, which means nobu is also very good against them
The only problem is that you will better bring Moe Dred and Sumanai-san against Rhon because they have both class advantage and Anti-saber and Anti-Dragon bonus. Nobu can be good against a divine lancer enemy like Karna in EPU but you won't want to bring her against a 600K+ HP final boss
junk mail everyone can do what they want. I'll use Sumanai and a suport Moe when I will get in to fight with Tituria. I thik that Nobu can do good against the every one of them but I'll never bring an archer against an Evade-pierceing, charm-spaming lancer boss with that much Hp
Nobu is definitely better for now, but EMIYA outranks her once he gets his JP Strengthening quests that morph his existing skills (plus his higher potential NP damage due to an NP interlude, although that's not guaranteed the way Nobu's is).
A Carmilla or Siegfried one would be great. Because I have both and feel they both need a spotlight at some point, Carmilla because of just being a great assassin, and Siegfried for his tanking, especially with dragons. He can tank a dragon NP to the face without even having his dragon atk/def skill active.
Always loved the legend of Oda Nobunaga himself (favorite version of him might be Samurai Warriors). And her NP looks badass. That said, I'm hoping you make Spotlights for memelord Servants. Like Kojirou. Or maybe Naked Apron Tamamo since you have her at NP5 in NA (thanks for letting me borrow her, she's great for farming and easy on the eyes)

I remember when I first saw Nobu during my early JP days. It was the re run event and my friends told me there is good welfare servant. Of course being the noobie I was I asked what a welfare servant was. After a few days I sadly got her only to NP 3 but she has served me well but still it was really hard for her to stand up up my to strengthen and interluded EMIYA but she's still helped me a lot back in my early days when I needed more then one Archer Class Servant for a quest
Man tomorrow marks the day EMIYA essentially gets erased from my parties. I like the character but Nobu is just a direct upgrade in almost everyway. And then when Kuro comes out she will basically be what EMIYA was supposed to be. Its really sad that 2 welfare servants outclass a central character to FSN that you have to roll for.
Justyn Mebane Well, EMIYA is a below average magus that took his skills to perfection to fill a niche. Kuro has Illya's grail level mana for projection, but can't use UBW lorewise. I kind of hope that Muramasa Shirou is super good if they release him as a Saber though.

Captain Z Emiya and El-Melloi are both below average Magus in their canon stories. El-Melloi is more of a researcher that ultimately gets frustrated when his OP students get even more powerful with his developed techniques. Emiya is more of a hyper specialist that used his limited abilities and weaknesses to fight talented people on equal terms.
Also, as one person before me has said, EMIYA becomes much better than Nobu after he gets Hawkeye since it lets him generate 30-50 crit stars with UBW if you hit 3 enemies, stars that he can use since he has 100% critical damage from Hawkeye as well which easily lets him crit between 100k-200k per card
I think that is fair to say. I rate the servants on where they will end up more so then where they are at release. Maybe I should give two scores, one for how good they are at release and one for how good they are down the road?
G&A Reviews That seems to be a practice I could get behind. It can give people strategies to work with at both release and how to think about them later down the road.
Yes a rating once out and then later status. From time to time cover ratings as farm units and speciality roles as there is no one rating for any servant as targets differ.

That is, one for Medusa, Musashibou, Cu, Ushi and Mephistopheles? I mean, Medusa, Cu and Ushi are good and everybody knows, but I don't know why I'm not burning Musashibou and Mephistopheles, because they're really not helping me too much in the combats EVEN after levelling them, so maybe a quick spotlight could help me to get the best of them? Please?
G&A already did one on good general use 1-3*. Mephisto is basically useless (especially if you have Caster Liz), and Benkei is hands-down one of the worst servants in the game. You just keep them around for events (like Gudaguda) where they provide bonus event points. You want to keep one copy of them at NP5, but there's really no use to them, especially with 1-3* and welfare 4* that fill those roles better. In general, AoE NPs are good for farming. Ushi is alright, due to her damage and NP gain skill, but honestly you should be using servants with AoE NPs over her if you're farming instead of boss-killing. Kiyo/Darius are easy, general choices for that sake.
I realize this video's not for me since I play primarily on JP server but thanks for not immediately dumping Nobu's Tenka Fubu as situational = automatically terrible as I've seen others have done a lot. I have grailed Nobu on both JP (lv 100) and EN (lv90) server and love to use her for her extra damage against divine enemies whenever it comes up in events, and it does come up often in events. Xmas in EN, I was clearing sweeping an entire boss wave of Gorgon sisters in lieu of trying to do multiple class match up because I was lacking ascension materials and servants. Oh yeah, speaking of lacking ascension materials, it really nothing to scoff at that she's a free gold welfare servant that can be max leveled without needing to farm for additional materials and monuments especially early in the game. There are servants who dish similar/better damage and provide more consistent all around performance than Nobu later on, but right now, unless someone happened to roll Gilgamesh, Tesla or Arjuna and they have the resources for them, Nobu's probably their best option for archer. When it comes to a berzerker/saber match up with riding and/or divine traits, she's still absolutely top notch and will have her place even if she's been overshadowed by later releases. Nobu's NPBB+EX boss chain combined with her demon king enhanced crits makes her an absolute monster even without needing to pump her up with support buffs. NP Gain and supplying her with stars is still a bit of an issue but there's CE and support servant solutions for that. How I use her, once actually hitting critical damage, np gain and star generating isn't really a problem, but there's still the initial hurdle. Your servant spotlight series is great. Informative without fluff.
Man. I played this event when I was new, and didn't get any of her ascension mats or extra copies. I am using her Avenger version a lot. Meta be damned, she's dope.
Now i have atalante at level 70, grailed emiya at level 92 (because i love his lore so so much) Nobu will be a superb addition ! Her party NP buff+emiya projection skill = unlimited blade and gun works!

My np5 Nobu just obliterate Jason's Hercules in Okenos yesterday. Funny thing is my kouhai Mash, Drake, David and the other scare the shit outta them and resort to lure Hercules to touch the ark instead use 3000 anti divine guns to blow him to piece. 12 lives are nothing when you shoot a lethal high power shot more than 3000 time stimulationaly. It's like killing rampage elephant with minigun. I question Jason's ego and sanity too. He's so cocksure he can beat me with only Medea, Hector and Hercules on his glorified yact. While I have Ushiwakamaru (fearless samurai who have experience on naval warfare), Dr. Jimmy 'NOT MORIARTY' McArcherShinjuku ( -criminal- -mastermind- -with- -heavy- -machine- -gun- -out- -from- -Trigun- -series- "Just an old man with gun. I am not suspicious person" - NOT Moriarty), Oda Nobunaga (great warlord of Japan specialize in firearm warfare and have anti divine buttload of guns), Rama (avatar of Vishnu slayer of rasaksha), Shirou (harem protagonist), my own Hector (old bastard with Joestar level of thinking), my own Medea (older wiser more devious), Medusa (a freaking gorgon), Robin Hood (Goblin Slayer when he not hunting goblins), LuBu (DO NOT PERSUE), Kiyohime (DO NOT LET HER PERSUE) and Romulus (FREAKING ROME!) on Drake's personal galleon battleship and my own Blackbeard and his personalship with more buttload of guns. How difficult is it to add a NOBU-NA-GAH! Kugimiya Rie is legendary and hearing her voice come out of Nobuuuu, you just can't get tired of that. But man Emiya...why you so suck compared to Nobuuuu.
Nobu’s pretty cool and I really dig her design, but I’m not all that excited for since I’m good on archers. But she’s free, and I can never have too many archers right?
She is a farming superstar so I go with Kaleidoscope 90% of the time, along with Halloween Princess, and Sumo. For teams the usual Waver and Merlin, but you can make her into a crit berserker if you have someone to feed her stars like Jack or Okita and in that case you should go with Last Encore or any CE that boosts buster damage and crit damage
Honestly, probably not. She'll be a little better than him for enemies with Riding, but his overcharge damage affects all servants so he'll be better if it's a servant with Riding by virtue of his higher attack. They both have AoE NPs as well, and Gil has more flexibility in teams since he generates his own stars. He has more health, higher attack, and all round a better independent kit. You'd probably want to focus on maxing an ST archer like Euryale or Robin Hood over her, although you could definitely train her up if you like her character/design.
I was working on it when the guda event was announced and had to shift priorities, but it's already half done so most likely this weekend along with Camilla and possibly Tamamo Cat
They work well together and I would say Nobu is fantastic for any situation where you need an archer. Atalanta is much more niche, she only works a sa support for crit servants

Unfortunately, archer Nobu isn't going to be available again. However there are other versions of Nobu, namely Berserker Nobu who will be available again next summer and Avenger Nobu in 2 years. There's also the chance we may get archer nobu again since JP is starting to introduce the ability to replay old events, but that could be 3+ years from now for NA if it ever happens

You still can, farm the near end quest. I recommend the lancer one since it gives both first and third tier currency. I just started farming for her today and got all of her ascension materials just gotta lvl her up now
I have a quick question... how is nobu usefulness in the camelot chapter???... against mordred and gawain???... i have grailed my euryale to level 80 but i think nobu can help a lot too...
She's alright, since those are among the Sabers with Riding. Her AoE NP means she does less damage against them in single combat. A grailed Euryale, plus a friend Orion or Euryale, will be plenty for those Camelot fights, which are fairly far off in the future.

A Carmilla or Siegfried one would be great. Because I have both and feel they both need a spotlight at some point, Carmilla because of just being a great assassin, and Siegfried for his tanking, especially with dragons. He can tank a dragon NP to the face without even having his dragon atk/def skill active.
Always loved the legend of Oda Nobunaga himself (favorite version of him might be Samurai Warriors). And her NP looks badass.
That said, I'm hoping you make Spotlights for memelord Servants. Like Kojirou.

I remember when I first saw Nobu during my early JP days. It was the re run event and my friends told me there is good welfare servant. Of course being the noobie I was I asked what a welfare servant was. After a few days I sadly got her only to NP 3 but she has served me well but still it was really hard for her to stand up up my to strengthen and interluded EMIYA but she's still helped me a lot back in my early days when I needed more then one Archer Class Servant for a quest
Man tomorrow marks the day EMIYA essentially gets erased from my parties. I like the character but Nobu is just a direct upgrade in almost everyway. And then when Kuro comes out she will basically be what EMIYA was supposed to be. Its really sad that 2 welfare servants outclass a central character to FSN that you have to roll for.
Justyn Mebane Well, EMIYA is a below average magus that took his skills to perfection to fill a niche. Kuro has Illya's grail level mana for projection, but can't use UBW lorewise.
I kind of hope that Muramasa Shirou is super good if they release him as a Saber though.

Captain Z Emiya and El-Melloi are both below average Magus in their canon stories. El-Melloi is more of a researcher that ultimately gets frustrated when his OP students get even more powerful with his developed techniques. Emiya is more of a hyper specialist that used his limited abilities and weaknesses to fight talented people on equal terms.
El-Melloi has a heroic spirit inside of him tho
Also, as one person before me has said, EMIYA becomes much better than Nobu after he gets Hawkeye since it lets him generate 30-50 crit stars with UBW if you hit 3 enemies, stars that he can use since he has 100% critical damage from Hawkeye as well which easily lets him crit between 100k-200k per card

I think that is fair to say. I rate the servants on where they will end up more so then where they are at release. Maybe I should give two scores, one for how good they are at release and one for how good they are down the road?
G&A Reviews That seems to be a practice I could get behind. It can give people strategies to work with at both release and how to think about them later down the road.
Yes a rating once out and then later status. From time to time cover ratings as farm units and speciality roles as there is no one rating for any servant as targets differ.

Can you please make a short video about the low star Servants for farming? That is, one for Medusa, Musashibou, Cu, Ushi and Mephistopheles?
I mean, Medusa, Cu and Ushi are good and everybody knows, but I don't know why I'm not burning Musashibou and Mephistopheles, because they're really not helping me too much in the combats EVEN after levelling them, so maybe a quick spotlight could help me to get the best of them? Please?
G&A already did one on good general use 1-3*. Mephisto is basically useless (especially if you have Caster Liz), and Benkei is hands-down one of the worst servants in the game. You just keep them around for events (like Gudaguda) where they provide bonus event points. You want to keep one copy of them at NP5, but there's really no use to them, especially with 1-3* and welfare 4* that fill those roles better.
In general, AoE NPs are good for farming. Ushi is alright, due to her damage and NP gain skill, but honestly you should be using servants with AoE NPs over her if you're farming instead of boss-killing. Kiyo/Darius are easy, general choices for that sake.
I can't wait to get her. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't get her in JP coz at the time of the rerun, I'm just started playing FGO
I realize this video's not for me since I play primarily on JP server but thanks for not immediately dumping Nobu's Tenka Fubu as situational = automatically terrible as I've seen others have done a lot. I have grailed Nobu on both JP (lv 100) and EN (lv90) server and love to use her for her extra damage against divine enemies whenever it comes up in events, and it does come up often in events. Xmas in EN, I was clearing sweeping an entire boss wave of Gorgon sisters in lieu of trying to do multiple class match up because I was lacking ascension materials and servants.
Oh yeah, speaking of lacking ascension materials, it really nothing to scoff at that she's a free gold welfare servant that can be max leveled without needing to farm for additional materials and monuments especially early in the game. There are servants who dish similar/better damage and provide more consistent all around performance than Nobu later on, but right now, unless someone happened to roll Gilgamesh, Tesla or Arjuna and they have the resources for them, Nobu's probably their best option for archer.
When it comes to a berzerker/saber match up with riding and/or divine traits, she's still absolutely top notch and will have her place even if she's been overshadowed by later releases. Nobu's NPBB+EX boss chain combined with her demon king enhanced crits makes her an absolute monster even without needing to pump her up with support buffs. NP Gain and supplying her with stars is still a bit of an issue but there's CE and support servant solutions for that. How I use her, once actually hitting critical damage, np gain and star generating isn't really a problem, but there's still the initial hurdle.

My np5 Nobu just obliterate Jason's Hercules in Okenos yesterday. Funny thing is my kouhai Mash, Drake, David and the other scare the shit outta them and resort to lure Hercules to touch the ark instead use 3000 anti divine guns to blow him to piece. 12 lives are nothing when you shoot a lethal high power shot more than 3000 time stimulationaly. It's like killing rampage elephant with minigun.

She is a farming superstar so I go with Kaleidoscope 90% of the time, along with Halloween Princess, and Sumo. For teams the usual Waver and Merlin, but you can make her into a crit berserker if you have someone to feed her stars like Jack or Okita and in that case you should go with Last Encore or any CE that boosts buster damage and crit damage

Honestly, probably not. She'll be a little better than him for enemies with Riding, but his overcharge damage affects all servants so he'll be better if it's a servant with Riding by virtue of his higher attack. They both have AoE NPs as well, and Gil has more flexibility in teams since he generates his own stars. He has more health, higher attack, and all round a better independent kit. You'd probably want to focus on maxing an ST archer like Euryale or Robin Hood over her, although you could definitely train her up if you like her character/design.

They work well together and I would say Nobu is fantastic for any situation where you need an archer. Atalanta is much more niche, she only works a sa support for crit servants

Unfortunately, archer Nobu isn't going to be available again. However there are other versions of Nobu, namely Berserker Nobu who will be available again next summer and Avenger Nobu in 2 years. There's also the chance we may get archer nobu again since JP is starting to introduce the ability to replay old events, but that could be 3+ years from now for NA if it ever happens

You still can, farm the near end quest. I recommend the lancer one since it gives both first and third tier currency. I just started farming for her today and got all of her ascension materials just gotta lvl her up now

I have a quick question... how is nobu usefulness in the camelot chapter???... against mordred and gawain???... i have grailed my euryale to level 80 but i think nobu can help a lot too...
She's alright, since those are among the Sabers with Riding. Her AoE NP means she does less damage against them in single combat. A grailed Euryale, plus a friend Orion or Euryale, will be plenty for those Camelot fights, which are fairly far off in the future.
She is pretty strong in Camelot, no where near Orion or Euryale good though
She will be really useful in the Onigashima event against Mama Raikou, a Berseker with Riding and Divinity
