The US opening song began with bells and a tittle " Earth greatest adventure about to begin". First sailor moon trailer was released in 1993, and finally in 1994 sailor moon made her debut in the US, I believe it was the month of June.

It was an unaired pilot made in the early nineties by Saban (the Power Ranger guy/company) and ToonMakers (🤷) for American audiences. It never got picked up, hence why you’ve never seen it
I'm currently binging the original Sailor Moon. So far, this adaptation is to Sailor Moon like what the 1993 Super Mario movie is to Super Mario and what 1998 Godzilla is to Godzilla. A bunch of crap Americanized adaptations that would've altered history. A alternate reality where the US wouldn't allow anything that was foreign especially if it was children's TV animation from the East. With Power Rangers I understand because who would want to see an on going live action show where a bunch of Japanese actors are being English dubbed? It would alienate a lot of young viewers in the western world both visually and culturally. Although outside of Power Rangers and Godzilla sadly, I don't think the genre of tokusatsu may never become mainstream here in the west since that is something that is integrally exclusive to the Japanese/Eastern culture. They have their Ultraman and Kamen Rider and we have our DC and Marvel. I guess it's for the best.

Но хорошо что эта план не стал реальностью , во первых в чём прикол брать живых актёров и превращать их в мультяшных персонажей , могли бы для тех времён использовать не очень плохую компьютерную графику и костюмы которые были бы очень даже кстати , но если они решили совмещать анимацию с игрой настоящих актёров , то это просто нелепо и глупо , анимация встратая , актёры переигрывают . Да и смысл делать всё как было в аниме но только с европейскими именами и на манер приметивнвных подростковых шоу от Nickelodeon . Могли бы создать свою версию без коротких юбок и и главную героиню не делать блондинкой .

Вроде как я помню было, что-то связано с цензурой Просто в оригинальном аниме множество "щекотливых моментов" и решили переснять Сейлор мун на американский лад, но что-то пошло не так и к счастью это и осталось странным пилотом
