I worked as crew on a sailing charter boat and we had Grenada as our home base. I think I spend like over 4 months there and I have to completely agree with your list. If you have the time I can advise you to rent a 4x4 and go scout the island without a guide, don't be afraid to get lost because Grenadians are super friendly and always point you to the right direction when asked. One thing you probably didn't visit but is equally great is the container park, theres loads of food vendors and bars there mostly for the students so the prices are very decent and the food is awesome. Also Le Phare Bleu resort is a nice place to visit with live music every Friday night on a 1900's Lightship.
For someone who only spent 2 weeks there I've got to congratulate you on your list. There's a few things I would have added but I can't complain. Looking at your video one can see the reason why: for a tourist you really made a point of trying to get out and discover at a local level. So your review comes across as authentic and so enthusiastic. If only tourists did more of this rather than staying cooped up in hotels. Totally agree with Carriacou - I'm 100% biased as I have property there/my family are from there! One thing to add is you can travel by air to Carriacou, more expensive but much quicker @ 20mins + not every day you get to experience the thrill/views from a 12 seater plane! The look/grin on your sister's face throughout the entire video says it all. Glad you both had a great time. The 3 island state is fantastic and being so far south off the main tourist map Grenada faces a double-edged sword: one wants to promote Grenada for the benefit of the economy and livelihoods but this is also what maintains/makes it so unique, I want it to remain that way. Selfish I know but one look at Paradise, Morne Rouge or Pink Gin beaches you got to agree 😂 Btw did you say you have other Grenada vids? Love to see those.
Brother thank you for the beautiful video from Grenada you are doing a great job with your veido i am from Grenada but I am living in Brooklyn New York City I love my country Grenada thank you for your sweet veido my friend.🇬🇩✈🇬🇩✈📽🇬🇩✈🏆✈🏅✈🇬🇩
Thank you for everything Matt. Corsair is HIGHLY recommended, the food there is AMAZING & the staff, I heard are very knowledgeable. Amazing! Grenada is home for me. But Carriacou is my PLACEEEE. awesome review. 🎉
Barbados have tamarind balls and guava cheese, I'm sure all if not most Caribbean islands have it, most Caribbean islands have the same things just slightly different and sometimes different names
Such an informative video! Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to check some of these out - I went to the seven sisters waterfall the other day which was incredible… but I’ll have to check out everything else 😍 (maybe mount Carmel…)
So did it help having your sister go too? I can imagine all the attention she got there. I used to go to Jamaica every year for over ten years, and took my female friend, and was treated completely different whenever she was around.
@@RazorBladeMediayou say that, but I never been to Caribbean, I live in mountains nowhere close to ocean, very different geology. Probably would fascinate you like island life fascinates me
No Paul, I’m not more important than the scenery, hence 90% of the video being footage, 10% me presenting. Ever watched the news before? Kind of similar how they edit…go watch a narration instead.
as a British grenadian. The junction is where grenadian men go for white girls. I've been there a couple times myself and the vibes were itee but there's so many other clubs to go to. this video is probably for white people
I think he figured that out pretty quick when all the bruthas was eyeballing his sister, and dancing on in close with her😂, that clip is hilarious, like throwing a steak in the kennel

How would you compare Grenada to St Lucia? Which place would you recommend if you could only recommend one? Thank you!!!
I was there in 1999 and it was a different world than what your video is showing. Nothing bad or good, just different
And now it's really different after Beryl
I'm visiting Grenada in a few months - where would you most recommend staying? ive been recommended the rpyalton and the Coyaba
Hey, I did a full travel series in Grenada where I recommended multiple different hotels for different reasons! Check the playlist
Great informative video!! You did not recommend river tubing. I sthat fun?

Thank you so much for this entertaining, informative and authentic report
🎉
How much was that water taxi lol

HELLO, MY FRIEND. I THINK THAT GRENADA IS A PARADISE. I LIKE MUCH LIKE THE PEOPLE SPEAK ENGLISH. IT IS BRITISH ENGLISH.
I am from Grenada
Yes Daddy
Unfortunately you did not provide the history about the underwater sculpture park. Completely missed opportunity.
A big old man spent he life saving weeded lol😂😂😂😂
I live in Grenada. It's not a big deal.
Always the foreigners that would appreciate the island
@@rachaelfrancique5345 It's like that for every country.

Its nice of you to share but you cut in and talk like you're more important than the scenery and so a complete turn off for me.

This was pretty shallow and superficial tbh
What do you expect from 20 ish Brits? They are stereotypical love island prototypes 😂
