I'm Grenadian ,living in Grenada and I thoroughly enjoyed your video . I found it genuine and extremely informative, the criticism was on point and much appreciated. You do what you do very well. Continue to enjoy exploring, and please do return. P.S. Carriacou is also my favorite part of Grenada.😊
Respect from Grenada! I have been cruising the Caribbean for 8 years now and watching you for 2. Well done sir! Well done. We have had a few showers over lhe last 2 days, about 1 in of rain total.
Thank you for the wonderful tour of the estate! One of the highlights of our trip. I LOVE your chocolate. We bought a lot of it but sadly, it's already gone. I cannot wait to come back for more. 😋❤
I am Grenadian, and you did a magnificent job showcasing our beautiful little island in your video presentation. Thank you for the time, effort, and professionalism you put into it. Well done! I am glad you got to experience a little piece of our paradise, and plan on returning again one day soon. We are having a family reunion this summer, and guess whose video I'm sending to family living abroad to help them prepare for the trip? Thank you!
Wow!! What a kind message, Roxanne!!! You made my week. Thank you for watching this video and for taking the time to send me a message. It's much appreciated. ❤❤❤ Have a fantastic family reunion in this beautiful paradise! 🥰 All my best wishes.
I'm from the country from child birth and love the outdoors views and sceneries that vlogs give, the natural and raw nature.Anyone can and most do show towns and cities, that's homemade.Nothing tops nature!!
@Travelroads This has to be the BEST overview of my beautiful little country. You were thorough, informed, and respectful of the pronunciation of some of our place names. I am incredibly grateful for you taking the time to show grace in this video. I get tired of people creating videos that aren't well researched and make it obvious. Well done!
@@neillomarispringle4860 The US is not the worst place in the world either. 😉 Your home country is beautiful. I hope you get the chance to visit from time to time.
wonderful informative video on Grenada and Carriacou. A Pity you missed our beach, Portici Beach, between Morne Rouge Beach and Dr Grooms Beach. Maybe next time you are in Grenada you can visit our new beach bar, the Monkey Bar on Portici Beach, part of Laluna's Beach Club, that is open on the weekends.
Great video! Not only informational and well organized, but also many great shots showing both the beauty and realistic side of island. Helps a lot for my planning. Will definitely follow your other journeys.
Great composition of shots, well told story and processing work. And purely technically it seems to me that there is some improvement in the picture. Well done, Elena!
I have vacationed on Carriacou and did a side trip to Petit Martinique,I just love those Islands and the friendly people,I really had a good time there.
This was an incredibly comprehensive and well put together video. I was even surprised by the segment on Carriacou - excellent! I lived on the islands of carriacou & Grenada over 20 years ago and plan to visit again this summer. It’s been a long time since I visited so wanted to see what kind of itinerary I could create for a 2 week stay and this solved my entire conundrum! I will try to do everything outlined in this video. Also as a side note: what is the name of the drone used to capture those breathtaking aerial shots? Thanks!
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment. ❤ 20 years away from your beautiful islands, you must be looking forward to your visit this summer! The drone we use is a DJI Air 2S www.dji.com/global/air-2s Enjoy your time in Grenada and Carriacou! ❤
Extremely well done. I’ve been to Grenada earlier this year and loved it so much I am going back next month. This video was just what I wanted - a great snapshot around the entire island and beyond. Thanks for sharing.
Great to hear a French speaker on a Grenada travel video as finally someone who pronounces the place names accurately! Enjoyed this and your enthusiam. Just a few points: a) Grooms Beach is the popular name for Parc a Boeuf beach (would have loved to hear you pronounce this); b) Yes unfortunately Pink Gin (I read this is a mispronunciation of the original Pinguin Beach - not sure about this!) has become private for Sandals' guests but you can get to it down a steep road that leads to the Aquarium Restaurant or coming over the cliff; c) the rough waters on Bathway beach and the eastern side of the island isn't to do with the time of year, rather it is because this is the Atlantic Ocean - the western side of the island is the Caribbean sea; d) An alternative travel route to Carriacou, if you find sea travel uncomfortable/sickly is to fly by plane - it is more expensive but far quicker with more arrival/departure times.
Wow! Thank you so much for this lovely comment, Donald. You made my month! ❤ And thank you for the explanations! Much appreciated. 😍People will be happy to read the information you provided. Thanks for taking the time to watch this video and adding helpful insights!
The sculpture park is very easy to get to, just take a bus and ask them to drop you of at the park. If you're driving on the westside, it's the next village north of Grand Mal, which is 5 minutes outside the town of St. George. You will have to go through Mt. Moritz and that will land you in Happy Hill. Once there, just ask anyone and they'll direct you, we like helping people. Welcome to Grenada....Forward ever!
Thanks for the information. We did go to Happy Hill and ended up in someone's backyard, facing steep rocks plunging into the ocean. Next time, we will find a local and ask. People in Grenada are really kind and helpful. ☺
Beautiful video about Grenada and Carriacou.Pity maybe a bit that you did not had the time to visit the Hospital on the highest hill of Carriacou..and Dumfries, the local boat yard.
I have been to Antigua and did an island tour. I realized quickly that each entrance to a beach is counted as a separate beach. Why? Imagine if Grenada did the same thing by giving separate names to entrances of the 'same beach', they would end up with over 500 beaches. But Grenada isn't over-dramatic like Antigua. Both countries have white, sandy, beautiful beaches just like Barbados. As a Grenadian living in Grenada. Some of these beaches are not as crowded as stated in the video. For example, Magazine Beach is actually a private beach located close to the airport, and public transportation do not go there. Btw, I love Antigua... the people are also very friendly there.
Sincerely i spent 2 months on this island and it was one of the worth stay i had. What a nightmare q How dirty the island is ! Empty beer bottles every where, lot of garbage everywhere, people insulting you when simply walking, poor annoyed Retired people, nothing to do, music speakers late in the night, expensive restaurants with very average food, and so on and so forth. I lived on my boat, and i left quickly this place. Iike most of french people.
Wow, quelle chance de pouvoir passer 2 mois sur votre bateau. Quelle aventure! Merci pour votre message. PS- essayez Marie-Galante (en Guadeloupe)- j’ai adoré! 😍

Those aren't scammers, please don't denigrate the owners of the property. It's about three, 2 local and one Ukrainian, different owners before the start of the trail and you can pay anyone of them for entry. The one with the black house is just the one closes to the start of the trail, very nice people. You can pay at the first property and walk in. You can park at the second, the Ukrainians and use the parking lot, they normally don't charge for people parking but they've been closed for a while now. It looks like they're reopening soon though. The black house is very convenient, location, so most people stop there. The entire property is privately owned so you will have to pay somebody, it is not a public space.
This was not our experience at all. We talked to people who were forced to park down the road and pay an entrance. We also spoke with other locals who told us about the situation. The trail starts at the little black house and not before. It seems a pretty unfair situation for the lawful owners of the property. Just go on Tripadvisor and read some of the comments there too.
