Challenge #3: Classical Poetry versus Modern Day; Which do you prefer? authortube

Hello, I am K.A. Bloch, poet and author of four award winning books. On my channel, I feature a weekly video poetry reading highlighting a poem from one of my four books, or even some new material.
I thought it would be fun to see if people prefer the classics, or more modern day poetry. So in this video I am reading an excerpt from a poem published in 1890 and an excerpt from a poem published in 2024. Both poems deal with death and the afterlife in different ways.
