“One poor demented creature externalising her miseries ...” My God I loved Clara. She is so persuasive and positive despite Erica’s steely glare. She is one hell of a lady.
@@JayArgonauts because Clara was calling Mrs Davidson by her first name Erica. I thought it was the staff that were allowed to do that. With the prisoners its Mrs Davidson or governor (or Davo when she wasn't in the room)
@@peterwilliamskelhorn6675 There is an old saying which is ‘familiarity breeds contempt’ and it is so true. When i stared my career many, many years ago we had to address our colleagues (management) as Mr, Mrs etc. I liked Patsy Kings’ portrayal of Mrs Davidson because the formality made her role more convincing as opposed to Anne Reynolds character who was pally with everyone and didn’t to my mind posses qualities which made her a convincing prison governor😊
@@JayArgonauts i remember certain bits from Prisoner when i was little like the books behind the governor in her office (after the great fire storyline) and hiding away from the Freak (the character) and singing along with on the inside

Male scriptwriter perhaps? 🤣🤣
Wouldn't Erics have being passed the time of the month by this point anyway? She looked mid 50s so had to be post menopausal.
This a such a great scene. Great writing.
Yes - she was on remand for "creative accounting" and actually became a sort of "Top Dog" for a while, putting Bea's hooter out of joint ;-)
🤣🤣🤣 Two sides of the same camp coin!
O-W! Clara did herself some damage to Erica. A pity that.
@allenmx What a cute scene. Clara was a bit dizzy, which made Bea unhappy!
I 💛 clara
erica sounds so different here
