The esee 4 is more of a tactical/survival knife?. We are hunters, and the knives used are designed with hunters in mind. After testing, we have found them to be a great all round hunting knife with excellent steel, but would benefit form having a more prominent finger guard Nathan.
Great vid bud. I agree with you that the Seneca is the better of the 3. Nice to see you at your day job as well lol. I always think a good knife is a ultimate tool if you know how to use them properly. Good presenting by the way Steve Keep it up bud :-)
makes you wonder if they would have done any better than a cheap mora knife though. could we see a side by side test maybe with a mora and one of them or some other higher end knife?
also you really didnt abuse the knives, you just barley used them haha, a good edge retention test is cutting some 1/2 rope or chopping some wood or spitting wood. Just some stuff id like to see in future reviews :)
I enjoyed the review but as with the knife sharpening video, I would like to see white overalls in the shop and especially round any meat product/process, even if it not for human consumption. I do realise that sponsors would want to see their gear worn, but hygiene must be seen to come first. Thanks.
this test did not really prove much. Im sure a standard kitchen knife would withstand all the tests shown in the video. Something a little more harsh should be used to demonstrate their durability. Stabbing a knife into some pine doesn't really mean anything to me,
Nice looking heifer but seriously why such a poor job of siding out was that the knife. Or do you side all cattle like that? Only butchers will know what i am talking about not attempting to belittle you talents just wondering.
so if the animal gets a bullet from nowhere, what kind of satisfaction could you get when hunting you want the real deal try having on you only that sharp knife to even get some kind of odds ( your brains should realize that with the rifle sniper there are no odds ) and yes, i eat a lot of meat from the supermarket lol
I agree with a couple of the other comments. More of an advertisement than a review. There's going to pros and cons to every knife, but this seems excessively biased. You need money to make videos, I appreciate that, but hyperbole isn't helpful to your consumers.
They obviously chose OKC and not Esee so please stop moaning. I would love to see the Esee fanboys dress out any game with the same skill that Steve possesses.

Oh dear! I'm not sure Wildy will appreciate that! He's a Master Butcher and slaughters all his own beasts...

A very informative video. Tthank you,
but why were you speaking quietly in the shop, weren't you supposed to be in there...lol I like my buck knife.
How do we purchase these knives in the UK please?
