- Small-scale farmers currently account for over 60% of Africa's population, with agriculture accounting for over 23% of the continent's gross domestic output. Despite this, much of Africa's agricultural potential has yet to be realized. Agriculture, according to experts, is a low-risk investment that keeps up with inflation and grows in value over time. There are many reasons why you should consider investing in agriculture in Africa as this industry is set to create many dollar millionaires in the coming years.

Yes much money. So far the rich locals and the Asian traders are the one with profits. Farmers don’t make much anywhere. Why Africa?
Keep your negative energy to yourself.
@@Jbeggardon’t be quick to judge. Do your own research, maybe he’s speaking from experience. But sounds like he may have a legit point. Everything that sounds like a wall is not necessarily a wall, sometimes it’s a heads up to give clarity.

Some Africa countries have security and infrastructures challenges. As such investment is attractive to a stable and secure environment or countries to Invest.
Why not look at Botswana. Its a stable country with good governance and little corruption .I am looking for investors to help in Agriculture here .Got government contracts for beef export.
These kinds of videos create too much hype. You need to go down to the trenches and find out what is really happening. The only people making money in agric in Africa are the middlemen and corporations selling seeds and farm inputs, not the farmers. There are no subsidies, no guaranteed markets that pay farmers top dollar for their produce without middlemen undercutting them, no infrastructure for processing or transport, no continuous govt policy, etc. Go find out what happened to Nigeria's Cassava Transformation Initiative of 2004. How can a country that tops cassava production globally, account for only $1million of cassava products in the export market, whereas Thailand that is number 4 on the list of top cassava producers is making $1.5 billion annually from export of cassava products? A shocking paradox.
What idea do you have to make a difference? I'm interested because I just started my agricultural Journey. But at this point, I'm playing safe as to only farm locally must consume products like pepper.
Couldn't it be that Nigeria exports little Cassava due to high consumption at home considering the high population there?
There is need for African to the Agriculture in third eye.

Be careful with the coffee and the chocolate, they are addictive. Do not copy the western world much unless it's for tourists.
Tourists will corrupt Africans, and eventually steal their countries from them, just as the European colonists did, keep them out.
