    This man has opened the floodgates of 'Silence' by attempting to trap The Truth in the trivial power of words.Rupert,fully knows, that his words cannot explain the 'Tao' but the grace with which he tries to fail in his own attempts is exemplary.It is, non-suprising, co-incidence that only two days ago I purchased 'Tao Te Ching' book to determine if Lao Tzu would also become'the Witness' of the 'Reality' that 'I KNOW'and my word,Lao Tzu fully condones 'the knowing of my knowing'.Thanks Alan.

    This particular video is dear to me, because its starting point is my actual, normal, daily life and then Rupert explains, by the image of the photograph, a route to 'get to' the other point of view, the one experience. Then he takes us all the way until there is nothing left to say, not even nothing.
    Thank you for making this.

    This is the best I can do to show my appreciation . I know Rupert is just a modulation of I and I sincerely thank this modulation as well as the one named Alan. One question though - in reality, is there no such thing as “achievement “?

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Consciousness is infinitely creative so of course there is apparent achievement but consciousness is always consciousness.

    Alan, slowly this is dawning on me. I listen early in the morning when all is dark and quiet, eyes closed. I check this out. It seems true... a sound outside is heard in the same place as the sensing of the foot, or face, the same place as where thought appears. One experience. Not consciousness inside a body, but experience is consciousness. Now let us look at the tree- more sensation. Even if I cut the tree down it’s all experience within. There is no matter, it is only consciousness.
    The question is this: when I am back home “far away from tree” is that tree still there rooted in that ground? At this point my mind seizes up. It sees the tree as an independent matter that is, on its own, rooted to the ground. That implies “a world out there”.
    How do you see this? Anything you may have to say would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's important that you have found in direct experience shows that everything is made of consciousness. It's great that you have seen this.
      So from your experiential understanding, how can a tree with an independent nature exist when you don't see it.
      There is a reality that exists but it exists as potentiality or vibration until an observer (mind activity, the five senses) combines with it.
      Is it a coincidence that the apparent world corresponds perfectly with the five senses?

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tree is only a tree when the senses are present. Prior to that there is only potentiality

    • @pedrogonzales9202
      @pedrogonzales9202 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alan Neachell
      It is a challenge to even formulate a precise question about such things. This mind is flipping back and forth as this is so contradictory. Yet I cannot deny that the sounds “outside of me” appear where thought and feeling arises.
      So now, the “world” arises from a “potentiality”. The senses/mind + cultural conditioning turns that into the illusion of a “world”?

    Is seeing, hearing not sensing? I been told that the 6 senses are as follows:
    1/2 smell 1/4 sight 1/8 thought 1/16 hearing 1/32 taste 1/164 touch.
    Someone from Rupert’s retreat please ask and confirm please as it’s difficult to make it out there. 🙏🏼

    Please help me understand... Once you realize your Aware of conscienceness, and you sit in this, and sense this, What do you do with this experience other than acknowledge it,... I feel like I have found something new but after a few minutes I don't know what to do next, THANK you sincerely for any help.

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      You're not aware of consciousness, you are consciousness. You have found your true nature but you need to become accustomed to knowing yourself in this way. Continue to 'go to' the experience of yourself whenever the reminder comes to do so. It will become clear that everything that arises is not only appearing in you, (consciousness), but is also made of you. Then you can become totally immersed in life without losing yourself in objects.

    • @shirleysears1836
      @shirleysears1836 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alan Neachell so Alan thank you so very much for answering my question if you don't mind I just have one more when you say everything that arises in me and is also made up of me once I acknowledge this new sensation and sit with it so what do I do at that point in order to become immersed in such a way that this will be a lifestyle for me thank you so much I understand the process but I'm just looking for how to apply it now practically thank you so much

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When we make recognising ourselves as consiousness a priority, the way we interact with the so called world happens automatically. There is no longer anyone who wants to control or judge. There is just spontaneous action or inaction. The most important thing is to become more familiar with our true nature and find out that we can totally trust.?

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The question of applying this, naturally falls away

    • @shirleysears1836
      @shirleysears1836 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alan Neachell but isn't there a PROCESS or an action to do in applying this new way of being to make sure it doesn't just fade or... when I discover something new I want to do everything necessary to make sure I don't miss it, by having the steps to get to where your speaking of.
