    Really really helpful thank you! This was so nice and easy to get an idea of what I needed to think about, if I wanted to setup a home rig.

    I recently purchased my rig and a pole and I am super excited. Love my classes and plan to perfect my transitions. Unfortunately the extended pole and connectors were sold out at my time of purchase. I'm hoping they restock soon.

    Very helpful video. Thank you for the review! I think I will wait until I can get a bigger space before purchasing one of these units.

    Thank you for this! My question is about space around you, have you had any issues with hitting your legs on the legs of the frame? Is it ever in the way, or do you have enough room around and above you? My A frame will be for aerial hoop where I will be doing inverted splits like bird of paradise but I’m afraid I won’t have enough room above/to the sides of me

      I’m 5’4” and found myself hitting the outer legs if I did any length wise part. I definitely recommend the extender listed in the description!

    Hi! Is the height adjustable ? I have low ceilings but would like to keep it inside.

    According to the manual, when set at 8' high, the foot print would be 6'4" x 7'4" , can you confirm approximate floor space--it looks like you have it much higher for this video. Thanks

    If you spin, would your legs hit the bars in a straddle?

      TheEvilMexicanAxolotl where did you get the figure 8 connector from?

    I noticed your link for the figure 8 connector is a Australian website, do they ship to the US? I ordered my a-frame without realizing it didn’t have it.

      Kristin Caroza I haven’t been able to find the American one! I used a towing connector that was rated for a 10:1 load

      it says on the website but i believe it is over 200 lbs so you're ok!

      Most aerial rigs can handle up to 300lbs as long as installed properly.

    I just bought this- I was looking for videos because mine shakes a ton and it worried me a bit. I noticed that yours is shaky too so that actually gave me some comfort (assuming you would have mentioned on here if it had broken on you since you made this!) I noticed you don't have the sandbags filled - have you filled them since shooting this and do you find it helps with stability? I have this set up in my living room and it's already a bit obtrusive :) I'd rather not use the sand bags if they don't really help.
    For those who asked questions about weight - the breaking weight is 1900 lbs. Just keep in mind that some drops generate upwards of 10:1 additional force. Given the height I'd be surprised if anyone could do a drop of that kind anyway. I'm excited to do daily conditioning on it and some gentle spinning sequences.

    • @brennansherman4246
      @brennansherman4246  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Meaghan Maher exactly! I didn’t do ANY drops on it. I used it only for conditioning. I didn’t use the sand bags only because I never spun on it.
      It did shake quite a bit but it feels like it’s “absorbing your weight” rather than it not being safe if that makes sense.
      I ended up selling it getting a 21’ rig which IM IN LOVE WITH

    Hey babe, i'm not trying to be rude but I would love to know how much you weigh as I was told it has a low tolerance and I'm concerned I might be too heavy?

    Do you happen to know if this is this safe for practicing drops on? Can't seem to find a max carrying capactiy on their website. Thank you!

    • @brennansherman4246
      @brennansherman4246  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Ash! There isn't enough head room to practice drops. Ideally you'd like at least two body's length of space between you and the floor at the end of the drop. This one just simply doesn't go high enough.

    Hi, what is the lowest it can go? Online it says 8 feet but then when its initially set up it's clearly under 8 feet? My ceilings are around 7 feet :( I would be using it for lyra for the moment. Thanks

      Same question. Mine are almost exactly 8 ft and I wonder if it would fit.
