A comedy group got me back into playing Magic. I hadn't played in over a decade when I started binge watching the folks over at Loading Ready Run, and there's a video of them playing this format I had never heard of before: commander. Humor is so very important to any hobby, especially a hobby where we spend inordinate amounts of time and money on squares of card stock.
@@carlwilliams1340 an absolutely glaring exception that I didn't bring them up, so I'm glad you did! I've watched many an LRR pre-release but not so many sketches of theirs, which is probably why they slipped my mind.
