Crazy Quady have you ever considered winter hot tenting… canvas tent, tiny wood stove, in a blizzard lol more fun than you’d think. Just to mix it up a bit…to be honest we would all watch you do pretty much anything.

ITS BOLILLOS (boh-Lee-yos) it’s a Mexican bread served fresh verymorning in the bakeries or street venders in Mexico and in Los Angeles you can eat it with coffee in the morning or make a breakfast TORTA with eggs and chorrizo or you can make a full on lunch or dinner tortas too or ou can fill them with Mexican cheese refried beans and wow sooooo good

Your videos are educational mostly because of the things you do, like showing people it's possible to fit a 6'1 220 pound man inside a small Walmart tent. I would have never thought.

Investing in some hot hands is always good, they are compact and good to place in your socks as well. I used to buy them and give them to the homeless on cold nights. Sometimes they are in areas they can't make fires. Staying warm is the key. Add a little beer to them beans 👍😋🍻

I was tent camping 3 weeks ago in 30° weather wishing I had a truck to camp with and here you are doing the opposite!! 😂😂😂 The only thing that made it bearable was my zero degree sleeping bag!
Pro tip: Always get a two man tent even if your intention is to get a one man tent. That way you'll have room to sleep, and room for your bags, etc.

The ol Scion tC is a pretty excellent little whip. It's tiny but you can actually load the thing up pretty well. People either love them or hate them

I think the small tent was intentional as a challenge, and what a challenge brrrrrr. Yeah the cot squeezed in. Other bits you store in car.

Branching out to car camping nice ! Did you like the new tent and chair ? Looks like it would work ok for a motorcycle trip. I agree you should’ve brought the jet boil . I always cook breakfast/ coffee over Propane or butane because I don’t want to wait for the fire. Can’t wait to see what your having done to your truck (I’m guessing)

This made me think about doing a road trip in my Fiero and camping every night. Would work with my usual content and all that stuff would fit in the car fine.

Love that you're changing it up a bit. But that wind was relentless I felt bad for you I knew you had to be SO cold! At least the tent got you out of the wind. We Had our 1st snow here today in southern Wisconsin--Snow showers That brought visibility very low Left everything with a dusting And it's not going anywhere
Remember when Alice went through that little door? So, yeah, the camping version of that.
Use to love camping in tents camp shacks. But I can just sleep in that car with the heat on. Or just a sleeping bag. Radio wifi dvd player. Just remember the extra battery or jump box or small invertor or small Honda generator very quiet. We had a ford edge that with the rear seat down would fit a full size mattress.
I am in the camp that even with a cot you should carry a sleeping mat just to further slow any potential of heat loss under you. My best backpacking tent turned out to be a 100 dollar Colman 1 person. But if I am camping out of a car a two man is definitely recommended.
Been slowly getting colder where I'm at now in Colorado. Got down to 16 last night probably gonna get in the high teens tonight. Just layered up more and bought another blanket to go over my sleeping bag and I slept fine. I know it had to be freezing in that tent lol
That looks exactly like my small Kelty tent I used for years ATV and Motorcycle camping. Enough room but not too big. I used a Thermarest pad which worked OK. Cold weather camping is fun with the right equipment. Just more work, enjoy my truck setup much more now. I went the full drawer with a 39x74 inch 6 inch memory foam for the bed and a 10 inch wide full length cabinet on the other. Allows for a tote and cooler to slide in between.

people might hate on a scion, just got back from 85 mile round trip w/ friend to guitar center for some guitar plectrums/picks. His has 256,456 miles has plenty of pep still no smoke. Cool camping video loved the slower blues music.
looks fun.. you ever think about getting those small stove chimney to warm up inside the tent.. probably will need a bit bigger tent for those and a special ones that have a cut out for it

Nice video, thanks for posting it. I’m 6’4” tall,so that tent looks a little too snug for me. My tent is 9’x7’, which works for me. This video is inspiring me to consider an overnight camp.
