You can also turn off all alarms like this :
Car off.
Open the door.
Press the door lock button on the dashboard for about 5secs.
You will hear lock activate after about 1sec. Then activate again after another few seconds.
Exit the car.
Close the door.
No beeps.
Car locked but no alarms.
Cheers
Doesn't work on cars not updated which is a big problem with Renault. The ata updates are the worst thing about the car
Hello! Thanks for the video 😊 How can I activate the alarm after that?
It will be active next time you lock the car
Yes next time you lock
Thanks for the video. Do you ever get any false triggering of the alarm ? I get quite a few on my Equilibre. Cheers.
This seems to be a common fault on all versions of the Megan e-tech. There are some dealer fixes for it so I'd pop it back to them. I had my first alarm at 3am the other morning, I'm hoping it's not the start of my alarm problems. ( FYI I also have the Equilibre)
@@mrswinkyuk Hi, well I did pop it back yesterday 13th June. They said it may be the wiring near the volumetric sensor, so will bunch it up more.
Went to pick to car up later that day. The alarm falsely triggered as I was walking to the car in the dealer car park !!!!!!
They’re booking it in again …..
@@mrswinkyukLatest update 14th June.
Service centre had a bulletin late yesterday from Renault stating they are working on a fix. But it’s not ready yet ….
More info on Tuesday 18th …
